I'm currently attending the LPPA convention. Enjoyed speeches by multiple people including Larry Sharpe, and looking forward to the debate tonight. However I was not prepared for the extensive discussion on amendments to party bylaws.
I know this sub is not exclusive to party members, especially after the schism a while back, but can any of you give me a better idea about how after all these years we don't have a solid system, or how the new bylaws are such a mess?
I’m trying to do some research on social security benefit vs private investing to see which is more efficient. Long-term, if the numbers show private is better (that’s my assumption), I’d love to submit this work to politicians. Need to find someone who can help me with this report. Does anyone have any good resources to guide me in this research?
