Took this picture of my PS5 Professional and accessories the other day and thought Iāll share it. The Pro in my opinion is aesthetically the best console ever created. Itās just so elegant. The consoles contoured lighting is beautiful, glossy black and white contrasts, the slender mid rift. Sony outdone themselves here. Enough glazing. Enjoy!
Hi I cannot seem to find a correct answer to this. I have a ps5 pro and want to upgrade my 1440p monitor. Will the ps5 pro actually run locked 4k 120fps ? I play apex and call of duty bo6 multiplayer. I just want to know if it will hold 120fps consistently on 4k thank you.
What does everyone think of the remaster? Iām really enjoying it so far
I really enjoyed the first one and really wants to getting it tomorrow but the price $70 is a bit high. I am also afraid that it might be broken like others AAA games from the recent years. Those that got early access to the game, what are yours thoughs?
I have a ps5 slim with disc drive. Ps4pro with vr. Should I sell both and get the pro? Mostly Fortnite gt7 gta5 I have a Hisense 85āu78n. So 4k 120hz
I have a 2019 Samsung Q900R (Q900RB) 8k TV with the HDMI 2.1.
I get 4k 120fps with 4:2:2 colors but when I want to enable 8k in the PS5 pro settings it says TV is not supported. But Samsung TV manual says 8k 60hz is supported. Has anyone had any luck with this?
I wonder if it would be sweet to have a sticky for monitor suggestions, but a slightly more LOUD way to halt new inquires while simultaneously allowing us to share killer deals or new epic monitors.
For instance 2 threads: best tv/monitors (that meet all spec for ps5pro)
I know a lot of people ask this, because itās a big investment for us, and pro is still too new for there to be really clear options. I think I asked it, or at least wanted to ask, and Iām still stuck in 60fps š„ŗ
I feel like this would be a huge destination for google searches if kept current Best
I just got a PS5 Pro and with every game I'm a bit stuck on which graphic option to choose. RE4 and Lords of the Fallen still only give the performance or resolution option for example.
How do I know which setting is optimized for the Pro? Is there maybe a list online?
So I have decided to give MK1 another go with the latest conan the barbarian DLC on my pro. The DLC itself had enhanced by pro tag on it, while the base game is not and it is not showing as a pro enhanced game.
I checked the game itself and there were no graphic settings regarding ray tracing or whatsoever. My question is: Is MK1 pro enabled now? Is it a case of having no pro settings since the game is already optimized for prior?
"Sony's global market is so huge that I think it will be hard for them to go fully discless even with the next generation".
Purchased the PS5 Pro its arriving tomorrow. I also have a Samsung 8K tv.
Last game I played was nfs heat & The hunter Call of the wild.
What game do you recommend?
I understand the cooling and other efficiency benefits that come with a smaller process, but normally as the nanometer process shrinks/decreases, so does the initial yield per wafer (sorry for the technical jargon), thus leading to higher build costs.
Obviously building the Pro on a 6nm process would have required a more robust cooling solution, and likely a larger console, but could this have helped bring the pro down to a more affordable price point, say $599 or $649?
(Edit: Iām not sure why people on Reddit seem downvote a reply every time someone proves them factually incorrect)
Hi,
I noticed that playing games like grand turismo 7 or Spider-Man 2 that support 120hz display (using an LG oled b4), sometimes the resolution will change to 1080 if I leave the game open in use rest mode and then wake up the ps5 to come back to play. To clarify, the game start with the 4k 120hz hdcp 2.3 output, but sometimes after rest mode it goes to 1080p 120hx hdpc 1.4. It only fixes itself if I unplug and plug back the hdmi cable on my ps5 pro. No issues on 4k/60. Original hdmi cable that came with the pro, and the lg b4 is brand new with all hdmi port being 2.1.
So basically, itās been running great on my TCL Q7. Absolutely no problems in game or anything like that. However, something has been a bit finicky, because thereās been a couple odd occurrences. For example, today, after I started it up and the picture came on, my tv suddenly displayed its āno signalā screenā¦ only to return on a second or two later. The ps5 pro loaded the game as normal and didnāt seem interrupted by the no signal. This hadnāt happened (that I can recall) with my og ps5. Maybe itās nothing, but I was wondering if anyone had any guesses. Maybe the supplied HDMI cord is a bit faulty? I am unsure. Just a bit nervous, given the cost of the pro.
Anyone else excited for this?
Hi all. So my main game is elder scrolls online and I play on the base ps5. Does anyone here play eso on the pro? It doesnāt have a pro patch but Iām just wondering how good it runs and if it looks better than the base ps5
So recently ive been playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora a lot on both SERIES X and PS5 PRO. I play a mission in one console and then i replay it on another (thats because i really love this game). So ive had lots of time analyzing (and comparing) the graphics on both consoles.
My rock solid impression is: The PS5 Pro version is a dream to play. Stellar crispy clear graphics and unbeliavable great and steady FPS. It really made my life on Pandora better! whereas the xbox series X version ate dust in every aspect. You only see the difference when you play on Pro and then "dowgrade" to the xbox version.
So im kinda "living proof" the PS5 PRO RULES! theres no lies here. Ps5 pro is insanely crispier.
BUT (theres always a but right?) it seems the pro version made something weird with faraway trees and such, leaving them kinda "blurry" sometimes. This doesnt bother me that much, but still... i feel maybe game developers are struggling adapting existing games for PS5 PRO.
Anyway im really satisfied with my purchase mostly because in every game i tested i could see with my eyes some difference. Theses differences are not marvelous but they REALLY make the games much better.
So I'm looking into ssd but there are a lot to pick from. What's the most important spec to look out for, write speed? I know it needs a heatsink.
If you had to change one thing about the pro, what would it be? Can be spec or on the outside, anything
Now I'm good to go š
How do the specs and performance per $ of ps5 pro compare to most gaming laptops? My $1500 asus gaming laptop has been toast for months collecting dust in a drawer. I have a huge steam library and a lot of PC games I would like to revisit but a new PC is out of the question right now.
Someone I know gifted me a $50 PlayStation gift card and I was wondering if I could get some suggestions.
I have
Please bless me with some recommendations. šš¼ Thank you in advance.
Hey y'all.
I'm looking at purchasing a Ps5 Pro. During personal research I've seen many complaints regarding the consoles WiFi/Ethernet connectivity and associated workarounds (HDMI interference, console returns etc). Are these issues as widespread as Reddit makes it seem?
I'm interested in buying but the idea of spending this much money on a console and having issues out of the box is concerning.
