Worth the buy? Md store…
I definitely understand the complaints about the price, not that it prevented a fast sell-out (understandably).
But I can't find anything on Google that indicates that Buffalo Trace is raising the MSRP this year? Especially considering FWGS doesn't mark up any bottles as far as I can tell.

At least mine were. Previously, my EHT SIB from FWGS did not have a barrel pick sticker with barrel #. But these did. Not sure that makes it better or worse, but it's something.

I know this is not a new or tatered release, but I've been looking for it in PA/NJ/DE for years and have not been able to find it. FGWS has Cooper's Craft Barrel Reserve, which is the 100 proof version of the watered down product they've been carrying for a while.
I was able to grab two bottles at my local store, and it looks like many stores around the state have it. It's an amazing bourbon with deep, rich flavor from the barrel preparation that Brown-Forman cooperage goes through for this particular expression. Its days may also be limited now that B-F has announced they will be closing the cooperage.

So the question has come up on how long it took for the 5K+ bottles to be accumulated by PA’s LCB. The interwebs say,
To find the date code on an E.H Taylor Small Batch bottle, look for a series of numbers and letters usually located on the bottle's back label or bottom, which will typically include a year code representing when the bourbon was bottled, along with other codes indicating the bottling line and day of the year; for example, "L19217" would signify that the bottle was bottled in 2019 on the "L" line, on the 217th day of the year (around early August).
The two bottles I received are both L24190 which I believe dates them as July 8, 2024.
Let’s see how far back these go!
Ive heard mixed reviews on most, and it seems like it’s either you love them or hate them. Thoughts?

If any are interested, I thought we could log what recipes we find where, out of this newest drop (January 2025), so if someone is searching for a specific bottle, they know where to go or avoid...
Hellertown store (Lehigh valley) totally surprised me and got some of the love- they have OESO (9 yr, 8 m. 56.6%).
I had to ask for it, they had it in the back, 5 left after I got mine yesterday.
Seems like quite a few stores got a delivery this week, I'm curious if what y'all find

Did PA get OF1924 last year? I’m hoping they get this year’s release.
