Hi! I'm gonna buy a Kindle for someone and I don't know what to buy. What's the best kindle out there na sulit sa price? Can you suggests some shops? or paano po malalaman if may ads or wala? Help me out please. Thank you.
Hello guys. I am planning to give a christmas present sa kawork na mahilig magbasa ng book. Ano masusuggest nyo? TIA 🥰
Hello!
Newbie reader po ako. Nagtataka po ako nung nag sisearch ako ng book sa shopee sobrang nag vavary ang prices nya. Same title same cover and all.
Thanks
Is it worth buying a Kindle? I have a lot of physical books that I haven't read yet, but when I enjoy a book in a series, I tend to buy the whole series, which can get quite expensive. I'm running out of space since my bookshelf and hanging shelves are already full. Last I checked, I had 285 books (not counting the older ones I had to store in boxes). I currently have a tablet and use an eBook reader on it, which functions similarly to a Kindle, but the Kindle is definitely more lightweight. I keep hearing people rave about their Kindles and say it was a worthwhile investment, and I can't help but feel a bit jealous!
Good evening readers. I'm based in Cebu City and I'm looking to buy a small bulk (10 to 20 copies) of Erik Reinert's "How Rich Countries Got Rich And Why Poor Countries Stay Poor" and get a discount compared to retail price.
Can anyone suggest how I could go about doing this?
Are books significantly cheaper in some neighboring country to justify an import? Do you know anyone who already does imports and could help me by adding these copies to his/her order? I have friends in Manila who could forward the shipment if needed.
I'm open to all suggestions!
i wanna redo it for funsies
Hello!
I've been wanting to read English romance novels and annotate them. I really like annotations, but I don't know how to start huhu. I used to read Wattpad books and even bought some hard copies, but I didn't use book tabs back then. ><
I've searched up for some tips on TikTok, and some suggest preparing highlighters, book tabs, and clear sticky notes (optional). According to some, they usually read the book twice. First, for understanding and then for annotating, which I think is a bit time-consuming naman or maybe depende sa tao but I don't think it will work out for me.
I want to know how you guys annotate and use your book tabs. Also, do you have some recommendations for English romance books for beginners? I really like "kilig" stuff, mga cringe ganun but still good and worth reading HAHAHA.
Thank you! 🫶🏻
Hello po! Nacurious ako magbasa ng Little Prince, maganda po ba? Sorry kung wala akong childhood at ngayon ko lang nadiscover hehe. Hm din po pala bili niyo if ever? Thank you so much po! 💚

Hi! I am Vin Vosotros, a self-published author. If you're looking for a non-scary read this Halloween (but still about death), then my novel might be the perfect read for you. And guess what, I am offering it for FREE this Nov 1 and 2 on Amazon Kindle. 🤗
If you like the following stories: • Kimi no Nawa • Every day by David Levithan • The Host by Stephenie Meyer • Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver • Freaky Friday Then, you might just like my YA novel, The Embers of a Star. You can download it on this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK5N79X3
After reading, please don't forget to give a review on Amazon and Goodreads. 🙏 Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK5N79X3 Goodreads - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/220367433-the-embers-of-a-star This will greatly help me as a self-published author.
Including here as well the blurb to give you an overview of the story.
=========
After she dies in a fire incident, seventeen-year-old Elise wakes up inside the mind of Jeremy, a fifteen-year-old boy she has never met. To move on to the afterlife, she needs his help in finishing her late mom's biography.
Simple, right?
Not exactly.
Because Jeremy’s father was the cause of her mom’s tragic death.
With a complicated past between their families, Elise and Jeremy must brave the storm to accomplish her unfinished business. But when secrets are revealed and truths are unraveled, they must face old wounds that run deeper than any of them could have imagined.
Can they make things right before the past destroys everyone they love?
"The Embers of a Star" is a sincere, heart-felt, and poignant story that explores the chains that bind people after a tragedy and the lengths they had to go to survive and live.
Self inking stamp from Shopee!
hit me up for any thoughts 🥰
Any tips? ako 20% into the book pag WALANG ganap WALANG spark... awat na 🤣🤣🤣

Anyone want to connect? Let's be friends! https://fable.co/aly-353202882218
I’ve read 31% of the book and I find it so dragging and boring. Naguguluhan pa ko minsan si Tress ang narrator minsan naman yung author. Please tell me if it’s worth finishing or DNF na. I want to try Brandon Sanderson sana and thinking of reading mistborn so I thought of starting with this book but if this is his style of writing baka not for me.
Hello! Anyone here who annotates their books? Would like to ask for recommendation lang kung anong brand ng pens and highlighters yung ginagamit niyo? Yung hindi super magbabakat sa likod ng page hehe or if may other materials kayong ginagamit please comment na rin thank you so much! ^_^
Hi!
So recently my gf wanted to lessen her screen time and decided to invest sa books. She specifically said na she wanna start with any self-help books.
I wanna surprise her with one…so any Book suggestions for it? ☺️ Thank you!
after reading song of achilles a year ago i felt like it altered my brain.
so i'm currently reading fourth wing and i'm unto 3 last pages of the book, and idk i feel like parang overhyped sya? i mean it's entertaining pero hindi sya world shattering they way people paint it to be. I feel like every book that i have read after nung the song of achilles they just don't satisfy me.
please do recommend books that is beautifully written any books would do.
A bit of rant.
Hi everyone! I was reading this popular TikTok romance book, and I got so disappointed with the male lead 🤦♀️. He was extremely rude to the heroine, almost like he hated and was ashamed of the fact that he was “in love with” her for absolutely no reason at all! He was often sexualizing her to the point that it was no longer “spicy.” He was also very judgmental towards the heroine. How is this romantic? I also found the heroine charmless. Why would she pick a guy who did nothing but be mean to her, and negatively judge her for no reason at all? She was supposed to be this “smart and independent girl,” but her personal choices don’t add up.
Can you guys suggest me a good romance book that doesn’t promote relationships like this?
As suggested by u/sernmae, the mod team at r/PHBookClub is putting together a masterlist of recommendations from the sub, categorized by genre.
Below the comments for each category or genre, please comment as a reply your nominations for the sub's best books of the genre. As much as possible, please only nominate one book per comment otherwise the upvotes will only be counted for the first book in your comment. You may make separate comments for each book. Feel free to upvote the choices you agree with!
Considering that Reddit has a limit of six options per poll, the top six books upvoted per genre will receive a separate poll thread where you could rank them further.
The nomination thread will be open for two weeks or until November 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm. Happy voting!
Iniisip ko sana magpabooksale warehouse. Do they still allow people to walk in? Nandoon pa po ba sila sa parañaque, per google maps?
I recently bought a kindle thinking na kapag nagsubscribe ako sa kindle unlimited mababasa ko na lahat ng gusto kong basahin (lol sorry lack of research I know) My question is, how to buy ebooks for my kindle? I like reading self help books btw.
It's the end of the month. What book/s have you finished or are currently reading? Any new favorites or new disappointments? Drop them and a mini review below!
Hello po! I'm planning to go to Fully Booked at BGC, I was wondering since its the largest branch ng Fully Booked is there any chance na malaki rin ang stock nila ng Brandon Sanderson novels? TIA!!!
