Im looking for a fixed gear like the Aventon Mattaro. Any ideas as to where I can find nice looking good quality ones like this?
Every decent fixie only sell in America
I'm going to be in Ottawa in about 2 weeks. Il just be there for three days but I was planning on spending one of those days on "The Rusty Carl" (my bike).
I wanted to know if anyone could recommend some routes to take. Also looking for cool places to stop on my ride, maybe some bike shops with unique stuff.
Thanks!
Looking to build a track bike this spring - but I'm having a tough time finding a decent frame around town! Looking for some advice on what I should be looking for in a high quality frame, and where I might find one. There are some True North frames at the bike dump for 220 wondering if this might be my best bet... though I must admit I kind of feel like I'm getting suckered when I buy new..
Anyone working in a bike shop know of any job openings? I'm a 4th-year mech, all self-taught with plenty of notches on my belt. I've done volunteering at Re-Cycles on Bronson for months and built many road/mountain/track/city bikes.. any input and suggestions are super appreciated.
I've been riding for 6 years now on a trek, it's got a sloped top tube so it's nice for the suburbial commute but I'm looking for something that can really sweep me off my feet. I was looking at crew frames cus titanium for that price seems tasty but I want something more track oriented that isn't an aventon but something that won't cost me 1000$ for just the frame and fork.... just looking for suggestions.
So i was planning on going for an argon 18 electron but i can't seem to find a retailer who sells only the frame. I'm saying this because i already have all the required parts for a full bike aside from the fork and frame
Does anyone know a place where I could buy an argon 18 frameset?? please not something in orleans or barrhaven..
thanks guys
Hi all,
Planning a group ride tomorrow, June 27, at 2pm. Meet up at the Somerset footbridge over the Canal. Bring some water, a helmet, and a bike.
Shouldn't be too intense and will probably end with beer.
Hey, It's going to be a beautiful day on Sunday so let's blast around town and hit up a patio! Probably a ~25-30km round trip, low intensity depending who shows up. Travel light, but maybe bring some just-in-case tools/tubes/whatever. Invite friends to come as well.
Meet Time: 1:00pm Place: Somerset Bridge [45.4206° N, 75.6844° W] Rules: Wear a helmet Have fun Bring a drink! Water, coffee and beer are all accepted. Bring some money (optional). We typically have a half way mark that consists of food, beer, or coffee. You do not have to stay for this, but chit chat is fun.
Will I be seeing anyone else out there? I'm going to attempt the ms run on my paddywagon.
Hello everyone,
This weekend we are going to try a group ride. The weather may be against us on this ride though; however, if all else fails we will be doing a shorter ride to a building that provides beer and food. Hopefully the weather turns out good and we see you all there! Going to be a Casual jeans/shirt kind of ride!
Time: 4:00pm
Place: Somerset Bridge [45.4206° N, 75.6844° W]
Rules:
Wear a helmet [unless you're a fool!]
Have fun

Hello everyone,
Looks like the poll was successful at determining a day for the group ride. We will be holding the ride at 1P.M on Sunday, it looks like the weather will be nice, so bring water and smiles. We will meet at Somerset Bridge (coordinates are below) and we typically wait 15mins or so before we leave. Hope to see you all there.
