Awaji has the Hankyu Senri line and Hankyu Kyoto line, so on the first year you can take the Kyoto line to Juso and transfer onto the Takarazuka line to Ishibashi, while you can take the Senri line from Awaji to Kita-Senri, which is far from Suita campus, but it can be solved by a dedicated bicycle on that end. According to google maps, it would take 40 minutes to go to Toyonaka and 35 minutes to Suita. As for access to other places in Osaka, the JR Osaka East line has a station and Hankyu trains run through the Osaka Metro, so it's great as well.
Are there any better places you'd recommend?
Hello, I am a prospective student currently in the final year of high school. I want to purse data science/computer science ( depends on the course offered) in Japan. I wanted to ask what is the best approach to this. I am going to take the SAT exam in November. I haven't taken JLPT exam ( I read on this subreddit that it is not necessary as well as on the website). Also looking for good scholarships that are available( for Indian students) . Would also appreciate if anyone can guide me through the admission process 'cause I am really confused and the people at the embassy are not the most helpful.( Also any arguments to pursue research in Deep Learning and AI overseas). Hope for a favorable responses...:))))
Touching grass and trees for a day will be good for you when you hit the books again. : )
In the coming weeks, I'll give all the information you need to join. It is a complete day hike, do set the day aside and I'll give specific times and meeting places later.
Great views of the city, fall foliage. We'll take cable cars up to the top and down, which are an experience unto themselves. If you are in Osaka and can see the mountain range to the east, you can see where the trail goes along the ridge from north to south.
I'm still tweaking the route, so if anyone has experience with this hike that you'd like to add, feel free to contribute.
Any questions or comments are welcome. Check out r/thisisosaka for hike routes and information, and updates to the coming hike.
Hi, I’m a ged graduated student in a japanese language school now. I want to study medicine at Osaka University and would like to know if they do accept GCE A level without O level (since i found out ged is useless for japan universities). I also want to know if they need EJU. I have IELTS as well. (I literally emailed the school but i just wanted to ask the people here)
is halal food available near campus?
Western or Japanese food, on campus or off.
Does Osaka University have a chess club? If not, I would be happy to help start one!
