pinkerton: omg i didn’t actually think she would BELIEVE ME when i said i wanted to marry her and i loved her!!
I have been searching everywhere and I can't find it, genuinely feel like I'm going crazy over this snippet of a song in a memem compilation
Since the full title brings bad luck i avoided to write "La Forza del Destino".
P.S. sorry, i have to correct this now because i was not supposed to write "La Forza del Destino"
P.P.S. darn... i wrote "La Forza del Destino" again...
AITH For ruining the vibes of my wedding? I (F she/her) felt in love with a guy (M hi/him) but my brother didn’t let me marry him and force me to marry another lad, some kind of Scottish family honor thing, I don’t remember what happened the day of the wedding , dunno if I had too much to drink or what , but I ended up stabbing the lad my brother forced me to marry and unfortunately the blood stained my dress. I was a bit annoyed about ruining the dress that I started crying at the reception. Some of the guest at the wedding say I killed the vibe and now no one is happy. AITH ?
All hail supreme leader Beczała
Recently I’ve been thinking about how a former friend repeatedly referred to the operas/scenes I’ve been in as “plays”. It’s one thing when someone uninformed mistakenly refers to a musical as a play, but seriously? We were pretty close, I talked all the time about what I was doing, she had seen me perform before, and she even saw one with me because it meant she could tell people she was “at the opera”. But never the less: “I’d like to see your play” “Can we hang out after your play practice is over” etc. idk how jerk this is but I just need some reactions.
Hi everyone,
I'm a young singer with a deep passion for opera, and I'm hoping to connect with professional opera singers. I have some questions about the opera world and would love to hear about your journeys and experiences in this field.
If you're an opera singer and willing to share your insights, I'd be incredibly grateful. I'm eager to learn about how you got to where you are today, the challenges you've faced, and any advice you might have for someone aspiring to follow a similar path.
Thank you in advance for your time and wisdom!
So, backstory: I REALLY LIKE Das Rheingold, and in large part due to how Loge (Loki) is portrayed.
He’s like super sassy and mischievous. I def get bi vibes from him too, so representation is a big W.
When I watched Die Walküre, I was a bit upset that Loge didn’t return. But I was like “That’s ok, he’ll be in Siegfried.”
NO SHOW IN SIEGFRIED EITHER. But that’s OK, because I was VERY PATIENT and watched through ALL of Götterdämmerung.
I was even patient during the last HOUR of that opera.
I won’t forget, when Valhalla caught on fire or some shit, and the curtains closed, I screamed “WHAT THE FUCK?????”🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I went to Bayreuth and demanded his family to have him rewrite the entire four opera series to my liking, and that he would put in WAY MORE scenes for Loge, and possibly even write a 5th installment where it’s all about Loge.
They said “How did you get in here?? Did you break into our home?????”
And I said “SHUT UP👺”
I explained that if he didn’t rewrite the operas, then I would chain him to a radiator and force him to write it👹
“We can do this the easy way or the hard way😎” I said very badassily.
Then I got ARRESTED for breaking in and entering.
AITA?
