/r/onthisday
This reddit is both to show off your awesome trivial knowledge and to learn something new, quirky, or interesting about the day you're currently living! Who knows, maybe you can use it at trivia night tonight.
A few posting rules:
Please include the date at the front of the submission. Preferably using a format like:
[July 4, 1776] or [7/4/1776]
Nothing personal. While you are certainly exceptional, this is not a place to post about your reddit cakeday, actual birthday, relative's passing, wedding anniversary, or the day you found your lucky penny.
Only post about things related to the current date. If you find something else interesting you want to share with reddit, there's the always popular /r/TIL, the less frequented /r/trivia, or subject specific subreddits.
Link to a source!
If its NSFW, it needs to be marked as such.
