This was only 3 years after 323 sailors were killed in the sinking...it struck me, watching it again, that it was one of the few writing mis-steps and was in unnecessarily bad taste.

Ive shared 5 versions of the same scene, which one is the best, each version has a different process, but i think the simple process is probably just as good as the older longer method and possibly looks better due to no enhancements..what i will say is there all 150% scaled resolution

I recently decided to rewatch the series. It's the first time I've been able watch it in 5 years as I used to watch it as a kid with my older brother who took his life back in 2018. We watched it over and over as kids but the ones on Gold have loads of bits chopped out and it's driving me crazy.

Does anyone know if/where you can get hold of the uncut originals. I don't mind paying, I just want to watch them like I remember.

Every time I watch Jolly Boys Outing I feel this way. He talks to Raquel like crap numerous times in the few minutes of screen time he has, I know Del thumps him one because he thinks they are in a relationship and Ray is being a bully. But even with this mistake Ray is still a right Tart to Rachel.

Hi you plonkers, hope you all had a good christmas, now finally im ready to rerelease series 1, after viewing this on the TV tonight, im happy with the results.

When I say there HD, there actually (1040 x860, which is 150% upscale) trust me ive tried various resolutions and this is the best suited..

Even though I have compressed the final cut down to x264(MP4) it's still a 2 GB file(bitrate is 10Mb/s), throughout the process a key aim was to retain the quality and I always encoded with the best encode option there was, even at the final stage, i hope that quality retention shows when you watch it, bringing me to my next point.

My advice, DO NOT watch it on the pc, download it, put it on a USB stick/external SDD and watch it on your nice big TV, all modern TVs should play this format, watching it on a monitor does not do this justice at all, thats my experience anyway, things can looks abit meh on the monitor but on the TV can look good..
