Something that has niggled at the back of my mind for years and has only come up today after a chat with the wife, who wasn’t brought up on Del and Rodney:

In Video Nasty, Mickey Pearce is running illicit naughty videos for Boycie. He also acquires access to a video camera, and decides to cut the middle man out.

He explicitly calls Boycie the middle man when he brings Amanda to the Trotters’ flat to film Night Nurse.

The way I understood that entire plot point was that he knew where he could fence the naughty video with Boycie’s contacts, so he was going to film one himself, cut Boycie out and profit the extra cash himself.

And yet, Boycie himself premiered the naughty in the pub!

Have I missed something, or is it a glaring error in the episode?

Don’t get me wrong there are some great lines but for me this one as me crying every time I hear it!!!

Hi all, sorry for a random post.

I'm desperately trying to find a video that I've seen before (on youtube I think). Its of the cast of OFAH explaining one of del boy's slang words. It's a word for arse but the connection of the slang word to the word arse is very long winded and takes multiple different famous cockney rhyme slang phrases to get there.

Can anyone help me by linking the clip, or does anyone remember what word it is that del boy uses for arse? Sorry I dont have more info, my knowledge about the show isnt great.

Upfront I will concede that I know that so much of the talent that made OFAH the cultural institution that it has become are gone now.

However, Uncle Albert's maritime tales whilst plentiful some of them I would argue could make great stories as a spinoff to the OFAH franchise.

Me personally I know that since ol' John at the helm I know it would be different but what does everyone else think?
