My freind wants to buy the oneplus 9 pro in the US and use it in Israel, is that possible?

Quick question - I've got a Oneplus 9 pro, whenever I send a text it uses data, and if data's not on then it won't send.

Is this likely to be a restriction of the phone, or to do with the SIM itself?

A few weeks ago I was wiping off my screen and I got to a screen where it said to enter my pin. I couldn't back out of this screen. I set it to something I knew, but now every time I open this app (non-1+) it asks for this. It is annoying and I have now idea how I did it.

Hi. I suspect I know the answer to this but my GF's OnePlus 8 seems to have been wiped to factory.

She described that the charge ran out, charged it to 1% and then without thinking held down the power and volume down to turn it on. She saw a menu in Chinese, panicked, then it said "decrypting" and now when it turns on it gives the fresh start screen and asks for details.

Using Google translate on my phone to read Chinese text the top option is "Wipe data and cache". I carefully went through the menu to turn on English and try to see what I can do, but there's just Fast Recovery (goes to an old school looking menu system with options to show the IMEI barcode) and Boot Recovery (which just goes in a loop back to the above.

I think she held down the buttons and it selected the wipe option (it being the first one), but it didn't ask for a pin or passcode at all which I would have thought would have been a preventative factor accidentally doing this (she had a pattern set up, so not sure if that is a contributing factor)

Is there a way to recover her phone back, and if so, could anyone point me in the right direction please?

I just received the latest update to my OnePlus 8 (OxygenOS 11.0.9.9.IN21AA) and I'm still not finding the Android 11 output picker. For me this is a critical feature, especially when using a bluetooth headset. I need to hear alerts & notifications on both headset AND speaker so I don't miss incoming SMS, email, etc

More detail: I'm using a Plantronics PLT Focus, but it's not always active when worn around the neck. I keep it there to quickly pick up a call without having it on my ears the whole time. The problem is the OS directs all sound ONLY to the headset - which means I'm missing nearly all audio notifications. I need the ability to be selective about where sound is output, including the option to direct sounds multi-outputs (speakers + bluetooth + casting).

Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated, its my biggest regret from switching to Oneplus from Motorola.

So i was playing on my Oneplus 6T whilst it still had over 80% battery left then the device suddently turned off and wouldn't turn on, had to plug it in to make it turn on again and the battery was 1%, after that i left it to charge to 60%, then rebooted it and the battery was at 20%, what is the issue here? OxygenOS 10.3.12

After the Oxygen update I am not able to receive or make any calls when I am connected to the Wi-fi. However when I am using my data the VoLte is working. Whenever I restart my phone the VoWifi feature seems to he working for quite a few minutes but after that there is icon in the notification bar and neither can I make any calls I tried resetting the network settings and also did a Factory reset on my phone yet the problem still persist. If I use data from any other phone using their hotspot the feature seems to be working completely fine. But the problem isn't with my other Androids as they seem to have completely fine Vo-Wifi on the same Wi-fi. The problem started after I updated it to Oxygen OS 11. Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Has anyone noticed an issue with overheating since the last OS update?

I know there was a thread on this but I spoke to 2 different Verizon and ATT reps, I was hoping to have Oneplus's input on this.

ATT representative said the phone would work on 4G. However it's not listed under "Devices that may require a software update to enable HD Voice, Wi-Fi Calling, Video Call, Advanced Messaging or 5G services". Regardless of whether this phone works on ATT 5g, it's not clear to me if I would get the benefit as even Verizon 5G ultrawide coverage is not completely covering my street. Is it black or white or will I sometimes get this n260/261.

My accessibility to this n260, 261 (only verizon) band is the deciding factor for whether I get the Oneplus 8 UW (with Verizon shit bloatware), Oneplus 8, or 8T. I don't care about the camera so whatever I can get a good deal on. None of these 8 or 9 except the 9 Pro have rWave. The 9 Pro I can't get at a discount in the US, I can a like new 8 UW for $340, a cracked for $270.

Please ONEPLUS SHOW SOME LOVE, does the 5G n5 AND n260 bands work with ATT. Depending on location I might switch there is only a $5 difference between plans.

This has been happening ever sence the new oxygen update dose anyone have any advice or knowledge on what's going on?

I am unable to recover all of my written notes with oneplus recovery application. There are 173, but only one is restored the one that was pinned.

I'm trying to order a phone from oneplus.com, but in order to do so I must create an account and choose a "region." Apparently it's difficult to change later once it's set. I've had plenty of frustrations changing region settings in the past, and want to avoid them this time.

I'm not sure if I should use USA or Canada, can anyone tell me what that region setting actually affects? Will it affect the phone in any way, does it affect my purchase, does it affect nothing?

I'm currently in Canada, and will need the phone shipped to Canada, and would prefer to pay with CAD (though USD works too), but I live in America and will be in America most of the time.

After getting a software update I turned on the phone and it went into this bootloop so I soft reset (volume up+power) and it brought me into some Chinese writing I got scared and power off the phone right away and then powered it on again and it brought me into the "recovery menu". I tried rebooting it from the menu and it brought me back to the menu, I contacted oneplus and they told me to to clear cache and restore system settings I tried that and it didn't fix my problem it rebooted back to recovery. It's been a few days now and I still haven't heard back from OnePlus so I decided to get on here. I really don't want to loose my data any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure when it happened but the shelf background is now blue from the top to the bottom instead of it being gray and it's killing my dark mode desires.

I can't seem to find a way to change it or to put the weather feature, that it's linked to, off.

To preface this glitch happens with any type of keyboard app, irrespective of cache or any basic fix like that.

Sometimes when typing if you go to select an emoji or gif, when you return to the keyboard the phone freezes up and you cannot input anything at all, there is an upside down chevron symbol in the bottom left (that is not usually there) when this happens. The using keyboard notification is also in the notification bar despite the keyboard being invisible or gone. That symbol usually appears when you activate the keyboard but disappears when you stop using it.

The glitch is when this symbol remains but the keyboard disappears, and the phone becomes unresponsive to any input for about 5-10 seconds. This is on top of the freezing behaviour in Chrome which has been happening for about a year now.

Weird thing has happened twice in the last two days. My phone rings, I pick up the phone but I have to unlock to, and there is no screen to pick up the call. I just see the home screen, not the answer/hang up/txt screen.

Also there is nothing in my call list for missed calls. Any idea? op7t

It's started happening very recently probably since last 1 week while working in between UI hangs very badly, for example, I might be scrolling youtube the screen will freeze & then nothing would work for at least 30 seconds & after that all the actions will take place at one. Another example would be like I must be sending a WhatsApp message & want to navigate back to the home screen, the screen will freeze for some amount of time again & then all actions will resume suddenly altogether. After the screen hangs & when everything comes back, I'm normally prompted with a message that System UI is not responding would you like wait to force quit System UI.

I'm suspecting this is happening after the recent update. I've currently OS11.0.1.1.IN21DA installed on my phone.

what does it mean?

I have a 5T that has been giving me issues making and answering calls almost 50% of the time recently. Sometimes when I dial instead of a ring I will hear a high pitched ticking or scratching sound. And same thing some times when people call me. I am in an area with good service when this happens and use T mobile. Has anyone else experienced this? I seem to get it to work by switching in and out of airplane mode or restarting the phone.

Ok major issue with wifi on my oneplus 8 pro. At a spot where every device gets 50-60% signal strength. My 8 pro only gets 35-40% signal strength which is makibg it hard to buffer some videos. Im an connected to 5ghz wifi and dont want to use a slow 2.4 ghz wifi. My old oneolust 6t recieves 60% signal at the same spot. And works great. I have tried turning off deep sleep optimization, switching my 5g network to 2g/3g option. The 8 pro phone sometimes goes back to getting a solid 60% then after like 5 or 10 minutes back to old 35-40%. Im on Oxygenos11 currently. Any fixes please?

Hi everyone. I have a OnePlus 3T (Android v9). All of a sudden yesterday, my phone started randomly disconnecting and reconnecting to WiFi, and it kept happening occasionally. In the time that I have taken to type this, it has already happened twice. There are also times when it doesn't happen for a long time. Do you know what is causing this, and how I can fix this?

Here are the things I've tried so far:

1. I rebooted in safe mode, and I gave it a bit but it still kept disconnecting, so I dont know if one of my apps is the problem

2. I reset network settings which deleted all my remembered networks (just in case there was some issue with it switching to another strong network nearby). That didn't fix anything

3. I changed Network Rating Provider from Google to None

4. I restarted my modem and router

5. Smart Wi-fi switcher is off

None of those steps worked. Can someone please help me?

On friday my OP 7T screen broke and stop functioning(display went totally black and no touch sensitivity),so my question here is anyone has experience buying display replacement from ebay/amazon,I don't live in the US so I have no access to the One Plus Repair service sadly .Just wanted to know if I won't loose screen brightness or the same feel that used to have the original one with those screens. Anyone has faced issues with the latest update? My internet connection has gone slow and videos are lagging to a point where you cannot watch anything. I tried even to download a video and turn off internet to make sure it's not a connectivity issue. But still the video is lagging.

To add to this even sound isn't working. I tried to play music with and without headphones and I can't get any sound through. But then if I get a call the ringing tone comes through.
