Hello,
I'm having a heck of a time trying to connect to a realtor in the Sekiu/Ozette area and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?
I am primarily looking for a 3+ bedroom place in the area.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Hello all! I'm planning on visiting Olympic National Park and was wondering how crowded Rialto Beach gets (specifically Hole in The Wall). I'm a photographer and would love to photograph the area without the crowds. Also, is there any hikes or sites you would recommend? Thanks in advance!
Hey reddit! Just looking for some tips on rigging for the peninsula. Headed out November 16 - 21 to the Forks area. Not asking for secret fishing holes though I wouldnt turn down any information you have.
Good evening,
My name is Matt; I'm a 25-year-old resident of Atlanta, GA, soon to graduate Georgia State University with a Bachelor's in Applied Linguistics. I've been in a loving relationship for almost a year with an incredible woman who's lived in the Olympic Peninsula most of her life. When I first visited her on her home turf last year, I fell in love with the region as well, in particular the livable temperatures, the prevalence of fairly tolerant and liberal worldviews I encountered, and not least of all, the absence of a state income tax; coming from Georgia, all of these are naturally quite foreign to me. With all this in mind as well as how happy I am in her and my relationship, we talked it over and I decided to make the move as soon as my current and final semester ends.
As might be guessed from my degree, I have experience in ESL teaching and tutoring, and specialized knowledge of linguistics (morphology and syntax, phonology/IPA, corpus linguistics, and more); my preference is thus to work in a related field. However, given the tenuous chances of immediately finding just such a position, I've been sending my resume out to employers in many diverse fields. For what it's worth, I also have experience in insurance, audio engineering and (yep) food service.
PM me if you want a copy of my resume.
Thanks for your consideration,

I just moved here for college. I like trees, I like people, and I like Olympia, but damned if I can't find trees and people IN Olympia. Anyone want to hang sometime? I like video games too. PM me if you like any of those things (or know where I might be able to find trees!)
This is the subreddit for the Peninsula Ents. Feel free to encumber your wills.
I'll be making skins/themes when I see more fellow peninsula peeps.
...but this reddit only allows text posts. No wonder it's dead. Anyway, the Article is about the impact of the Elwa dam removal and is worth reading.
