Hi,
I just was testing the new V74. I now got message that soon they will remove the Space Sense. So this will mean that the Quest 2 and pro will get ripped of this feature. I thought this isnt included on the Quest 3(S). I got little kids at home so not really happy with this. 😕
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a VR game that really captures the feeling of flight and gliding. One of my favorite things in Minecraft was going into Creative Mode with an Elytra and a stack of rockets, just soaring, swooping, and gliding over the landscapes. That eventually led me to playing a lot of RC plane sims, especially in FPV view, just to get that sensation of flying.
Now, I’d love to find a game in VR that gives me that same experience—the feeling of wind under some wings. I’m not necessarily looking for a hardcore flight sim (though I wouldn’t mind one if it captures that free-flying sensation), but more of an experience where I can just relax and soarrr.
Does anyone have recommendations for games that capture that feeling of free flight?
Title pretty much has it all
I wanted to know about the incentives for quest + for former customer. My trial period (3 months) is ending and I got an offer that if I buy 12 months I will get 3 months for free. If I cancel the subscription, will I receive some offer in the form of a discount on a game and the subscription after some time?
PS. I have bought batman and asgard wrath 2.
Specs: nvidia geforce rtx 3050 i5-12450h 16gb ram
I have a quest 3s and was wondering if this could run pcvr if its not powerfully enough will turning the display resolution down help (I have quest game optimiser so I can change resolution cpu power all of that) I am looking to play dcs World and a couple other games that aren't on the quest store like rumble.
Quick life situation, I'm a father of two, one 4 year old and a 9 month old. Theres barely any headset-time for many reasons. I only play when they're sleeping but found that I was yanking of the headset way more times than actually getting to enjoy anything in there. Because the supposedly sleeping ones tend to wake up for numerous reasons. If you have kids you can probably relate.
So I thought to myself, let's get back into flat again its easier to just pause and go, its like pausing your favourite show whenever an interruption occur. For flat gaming to excite me these days it has to look good, high framerate. So I "wasted" alot of money on an oled 4k panel pushing 165hz. It's a fantastic display. Can't really fault it.
Display, check. Right. What games are cool these days? And i thought that since I loved Metro Awakening I should probably try one of the other in flat. I didn't bother with the older ones so I went with exodus ( PC enhanced version). It looks great visually. Storytelling great aswell. But after all these non flat gaming years I had forgotten that animation exists, button press to mount the ladder, move up ladder. Button press to open door, opens door slowly. Button press ro reload. Reload is cool looking, but not effective. FPS games quickly turned me off because of all the animation. Of there comes a rat-thing at my face let's look passively at this fight between me and the rat while I press a button fast repeatedly 🫠
I tried some games in my exisiting library, and found that 3rd person and racing games is what works for me kinda. That's said its not filling that abscense of VR to he honest. Games in VR will always come out on top for me now. Just had to break the bank to admit it for myself 😆
I guess if someone has a game recomendation please let me know.
Specifically designed for VR, not just PC ports
To preface, yes I do have some eyesight problems, but I do not have this problem at all when looking at screens like my phone or my computer monitor. I can play games fine and see things in the distance totally okay.
So it is not my eyesight.
But no matter what setting I use, the image on my Quest 3 is blurry unless the item is right next to me.
The horizon in all the home areas is blurry, the horizon in SteamVR is blurry, the floor is super crisp when I look directly under me but the further away it is the blurrier it gets.
Things don't even have to be that far away to get blurry, like 10 feet and they're pretty blurry already.
When I get into a game, everything looks awful, trees and grass and bushes and other things are all blurry and they look very bad.
I don't have the battery saving mode on, and both connected to pc with a cable or using airlink looks exactly the same.
Adjusting the wheel only makes the most minuscule of differences to me, to the point that I'm really not sure what to put it on.
What's more, the screenshots look okay... I think?
Is my unit defective? Or is it just like this?
The aliasing is also pretty bad in all games.
I don't use the app very often, but I opened it being bored and this showed up. What is this headset? That is not a normal Quest 3 or 3S
With the newest update on the Quest version of this game, you can download charts from websites and the game will automatically scan the download directory and add the songs.
However, I can’t get ANY songs to get recognized. I have storage permissions enabled.
They are in .zip format - is that correct?
My OG Quest right controller is unresponsive, after about a year of not using the unit. Fresh battery makes no difference.
Is there a way to troubleshoot this either through the headset or online?
Hand tracking works fine. Left controller works fine.
Step 1.) Have working multiplayer in your last release Step 2.) Add game changing feature that breaks multiplayer. Step 3.) keep new feature and remove H2H multiplayer Step 4.) promise to your community that H2H multiplayer is coming back winter 2024 for months Step 5.) allow “community coaches” to gaslight customers who are rightfully upset with the delay Step 6.) announce an AMA, collect questions but never host the AMA Step 7.) double down on H2H coming in the winter. Step 8.) triple down on H2H coming in the winter Step 9.) cancel multiplayer and make no promise not to lock it behind a paywall for next year
Is there any advantages of playing the PC version over the quest version?
My home ISP router only has one ethernet port (I guess it could be considered a motem/router), its currently being used by my PC, I do not have onboard wifi for my PC, since I always wanted it to be ethernet connected.
I want to buy a dedicated router to setup and access point for my Quest 3, but I dont want to waste money. If I understand correctly, like in the diagram I provided, my setup will look something like: Main ISP Router --- Access Point --- PC, with my Quest 3 connecting directly to the access point.
I still want wired internet access with my PC no matter what, is that possible with this setup? If I understand correctly, my access point router for my Quest 3, will work as a bridge from my PC to my main ISP router?
Edit: Found this image on a separate post, could I just skip what is being called Primary Router (Router #1) in the diagram above, and go directly from the modem to the Dedicated Router (Router #2) to my PC?
I need a fix for my controllers, I have a Quest 3s and my controllers work until they reach 80%, after which every few seconds they stop working. It impacts most of the games I play, Beat Saber is literally unplayable with it. Did anyone have a similar issue and knows how to fix it?
Hi!
So I just bought 3 Metaquest3S. I want to be able to play with different people (sometimes family members, sometimes friends, sometimes coworkers) on multiplayers games, like Cook Out.
That's why I bought 3 of them, so I can play with whoever don't have Metaquest themselves. But it seems like I cannot put all 3 Metaquest on my phone?
How will that work?
Tysm!
I have a Quest 3s and when playing B&S I noticed that when under 80% my controllers stop working for a few secs abruptly in random intervals, happens about every 10 seconds. Every game is unplayable with this, so I'm looking for a fix, does anybody know how?
For PCVR what is the recommended internet speed?
(I have an internet speed abot 80-100Mbps and 2.4GHZ router is it good?)
OK I know you can download and install android apps and iv had great success at doing that. I'm going to throw it out that I might be dumb here. But once they've installed and iv closed them. Where the hell do I dpfind them again to reopen them?
My Quest is stuck in the Set-up menu. I got it the afternoon and tried to set it up, but it stayed like this since.
I was setting up my Quest 1 and got stuck at the security part on the Meta Horrizon App. The security page appear but the video doesn't launch and i can't skip it. I'm even stuck in the headset. Idk what to do. I tried :
Please can somone help me ??? Caus I can't find any meta support for this headset.
I'm looking for something me and my family can play together. Im loking for somthing that, can have pvp or pve or both but i have 1 request they must have so that 7+ others can play together and not too expensive
and for quest 2 and 3s
I have a question 3s and I’ve had it for a few months now but it won’t charge unless I shut it down all the way has anyone else had this problem and or know how to fix it?
so, my main games require lots of intense head movement and idk how to stabilise a powerbank
Is it just me or do you check periodically to see if rumble has released on quest 2/3? I can't help but speculate that Big Tech is making roadblocks for VR in order to keep the console base. I want the convenience of being able to play rumble on standalone VR.
Putting it short, i am on the Quest 3S my friend is on Nintendo switch, when i go to invite him it says that he is on a Outdated Version, why is this, any fixes?
