Some days (7) ago I bought my long desired Quest3.

Immediatley after I unboxed it I checked the pancake lenses. Because i’ve been reading in and heard a lot of positive things but also the vulnaribility. I used my phones flashlight circling around (not directly in) the lens. Clean!

When I put on the headset, I noticed that sometimes it looks like there is a grease stain in my lens. With f.e. The starting screen with the pitch black background and illuminated Meta logo made me notice this. And now I obviously can not unsee it anymore. ((Pic for reference))

Is this normal? Have I done anything wrong or should I return the device?

Hello! What seems like ages ago now I was an avid user of the Oculus Go. (I know, ancient technology), and recently ive really been craving the feeling of VR again. I was wondering if the extra ~$175 CAD is worth it for the Quest 3 Instead of the 3s? I was thinking about playing games like Bonelab and Blade & Sorcery as I dont have a good enough computer for PCVR. Thanks for anyone’s response!

If you've owned a Q2 or have had a Q3 from the beginning, do you leaving your Quest always plugged in and if so, have you noticed any diminished battery capacity?

I got a quest 2 and wanted to get blade and sorcery. On my quest store there is a blade and sorcery as well as the nomad version. If I were to buy the original version, what would happen? Cause I understand that nomad is made for the quest 2

Last night i found out i could play phasophobia on my quest 2 but the quality is so bad. I dont have a beefy computer so mabey thats it but if i can where can i edit some settings or anything to help

I just got a 3s recently and I wanted to get mods for blade and sorcery nomad and side load sidequest but my computer doesn’t have a usb c specific cable so I was just wondering if there was any alternatives to doing this, thank you so much

Been trying for weeks to fix this issue on my meta quest 2. My WiFi will stay connected for 30 seconds then disconnect and reconnect 30 seconds later. I’ve tried factory resetting it, testing my wifi (I have fiber optic wifi so my wifi is really strong), I’ve tried looking online for solutions and can’t find any. This is my last resort before taking it in or shipping it somewhere to be looked at. Can anyone here tell me why it’s doing this and how to fix it?

I understand why they roll out features the way they do but damn bro I was excited to see the new UI and stuff and I literally did not get a single one of the new features. literally just v69 but it says 71 now. idk just annoying lol

So i keep seeing everyone talk about exocars. I honestly cant say i see the hype. Its just 4 player buggy racing on 9 maps with different lighting and times of day which makes 25 maps and theres racing ghost. Thats all i see. Now to my point.

Has noone heard of Downtown Club? Its by the devs of V Speedway. Full interior of the cars with working gps, radio, and best of all. THE MIRRORS ACTUALLY REFLECT THE WORLD AND OTHER RACERS! Its been out for a while now. Compete in tournaments for more gear. New cars. Whatever else. Its still in early access but outside of Grids terrible graphics i think its the best racing game on quest hands down.

Hi, I recently got a Meta Quest 3 from Costco and I was excited to try it out, but it is very blurry. I tried to sort this issue out by all ways i could find on youtube, reddit...... I found my IPD, its best for me around 63-64, then I got a new headstrap (kiwidesign k4) original was very uncomfortable and causes fogging. Even after doing all this, it is still not clear, I am on the verge of returning it.

Had my Quest 2 for a long time, used it exclusively standalone for most of that time. I only recently got a PC capable of running Questlink (using the cable). However, every time I try and launch Questlink from my Quest, it “experiences an unknown error” and crashes. The weirder part is that, after this happens, the Quest Link app on my PC seems to ‘lose’ the quest. Despite being plugged in (and the PC reading it as a USB device), it refuses to connect on either end. Any help would be appreciated

I bought the Meta Quest Touch Plus controllers about a year and a half ago for my Meta Quest 2 since I wanted more advanced tracking. I stopped using them when I got my Quest 3 for the purpose of testing out the Quest Touch Plus Controllers.

Now, I want to switch back to my Touch Pro’s since the Touch Plus tracking is… bad lol.

For the past few weeks or so, I’ve been trying to use my Touch Pro’s. Whenever I startup my headset, they take like a full minute or two of bugging and not tracking for them to finally go to where they’re actually meant to be, and this only actually successfully occurs like 80% of the time. The other 20%, one of them (or even both) just continue to bug and won’t be fixed even after restarting the controllers. This is insanely annoying, but it doesn’t end there.

One of the main reasons I got the controllers in the first place was to have more advanced, accurate, and realtime tracking. This is why it’s a HUGE pain when they just decide to not work at random. I’ll be mid-match in a really intense game of beat saber, the controllers were working extremely well the whole previous portion of the round, and then… one of them just decides to go haywire. It’ll still rotate, but it’ll drift off into nothingness and fail to properly track. I’m worried it could be something to do with the lighting, but the majority of the time I play with a window wide open covering the whole room in sunlight WITH my white LED strip lights on. As far as I know, the more well-lit the room, the better when it comes to tracking, but it just doesn’t work for me. It also wouldn’t make sense seeing as how they’ll track completely fine up until a random moment in time. If it were a lighting issue, I think it would just completely fail the whole time, no?

Not to mention tons of other bugs I’ve come across (such as them crashing my games/themselves if I try to click on notifications at certain times).

On top of looking into lighting problems, I’ve put thought into controllers being “faulty” in some way. This wouldn’t make sense since they’re properly conditioned, aren’t damaged, and one of them is even a replacement since the original was having issues with its menu button not working.

I just want to know if anybody else has (or is having) similar issues, and if there’s a way to bypass or fix them, please let me know. I’m genuinely so sick of the tracking bugs, especially with how horribly they’re timed. Thank you.

I just had to factory reset my quest 2 to sell it and I for some reason got emotional. Didn’t help that when I was scrolling on YouTube as it was resetting the song of the Mars rover singing to itself as the battery was getting low played. I bought the headset with my own money back when I was twelve, I hope the quest 3 will be as much fun as the two.

Might be more of a steam issue but it keeps saying a critical component keeps failing. Issue 309.

It is based on data from Meta API, and not manually checked, so I can't guarantee that all games have MR, but from what I see most of them should.

p.s. you can find more apps on QuestStoreDB: there are filters to get a list of apps of your liking :)

So I've run into the apparently not uncommon "boot loop" issue.

I have entered the service menu and tried to do a Factory Reset, but when I do so, it reboots and gives me a No Command error.

Meta Quest technical support is apparently useless about this, and I suspect I'm not even getting emails from an actual person since they keep repeating the fact my unit is out of warranty and offering me a $200 replacement.

Am I just screwed?

Hi, I can't seem to be able to see the games library of any of my friends. When I go to their profile, wether from the app of the headset, I can only see their followers and who they're following and can't see anything related to apps they own.

Is this a Europe limitation thing maybe ? Am I looking at the wrong place ?

Just recently purchased a Quest 3, completely brand new, and one of the controllers has a slightly loose section that creates a creaking sound every time I use the grip trigger.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with the controllers before, or anything similar at all?

Apart from this issue, I have been absolutely loving the experience, and cannot wait to expand the catalogue!

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

i mean i understand what it does... but airlink does the exact same. i tryed running games from VD instead of airlink and they run exactly the same... what are the bennefits?

I just released my game, Kart Tag, to the quest stores! Right now the core gameplay is you join a lobby, vote on a map, and play tag. At the end of the round the players are ranked based on how long they were tagged for.
