When voting early, you may visit any open polling station. You are not limited to the polling station listed on your voter information card. If you wait until Election Day, you will have to visit your assigned polling station.
See https://www.votemarion.gov/EarlyVoting for a list of early voting stations. Not all polling stations are open for early voting.
#VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOTS:

You must either drop it off at an early voting station today from 8:00am to 6:00pm or at Marion County Election Headquarters at 981 NE 16th Street, Ocala, FL 34470 on Monday Nov 4 or Tuesday Nov 5 from 8:30am to 4:30pm. You may also surrender the ballot and vote in person during in-person voting hours. When dropping off a ballot, make sure it is in its official return envelope and properly signed and dated.
If you lost your vote-by-mail ballot or it was lost in the mail, you may vote in person by visiting a polling station per the information above and informing staff that the ballot was lost. They will check that the ballot was not already received, void it and issue you a provisional ballot.
Thank you for your participation!
23m…Just moved to Ocala a couple months ago, don’t know anybody here at all. I’ve been so bored lately all I do in my free time is sit in my house and smoke it’s starting to get super annoying🫠 Any suggestions on how to go about meeting people?? I feel like it’s kinda weird/hard making friends and an adult especially a male, like where do you even start😂 Even suggestions on things to do by myself I’m just tired of sitting inside .
anybody know how Dave at “the birds nest”keeps the birds from flying away while doing nail trims? I have a cockatiel, but she’s not comfortable with people touching her feet so she’s probably gonna be in a little bit of a panic.
I’ve heard that he’s been there for years and he’s really well known around here by bird owners, so I’m sure it’ll be fine, still just wondering what kind of setup he has.
I work remotely in IT but I seriously need a break. Are there any none tech related jobs or companies I can apply for maybe even a warehouse job? I tried looking into Fedex already but need other options. Minimum $40k annual salary with good benefits if possible. Thanks
Hey yall! Its been a minute since I've posted, and even though I've recieved quite a few calls, I just wanted to remind everyone that my services are available.
Ive been photographing, catching, and relocating both non-venomous and venomous snakes for over 15 years. I love these creepy, crawly reptiles. If you need me, just shoot me a message. I can come out and capture and remove them for you. I relocate them to different private properties all over Marion County so they can live a long life without human interference.
I do charge a between $20-$40 depending on location and how easy it is to remove said snake (I am constantly driving and gas isnt cheap) but would urge anyone to give me a call, I'd rather remove a snake than see it killed over a few dollars.
I also want to thank everyone who has called and utilized my services, it really means so much to me.
Just remember, snakes are vital to our ecosystem. I know, they are scary! But the benefits to having snakes around greatly outweighs the cons. Besides that, most snake bites happen when people attempt to corner, kill, or trap a snake without proper training. Let me do it for you, safely, and without harm to the snake.
Thanks, Patrick
where do we go for halloween near Ocala? Around 16-19 years old
I just want to have my roof inspected after the storms. It’s only 4 years old and I did loose 2 shingles . Just want to get fixed but not to be taken. Any suggestions? Thank you .
Does anyone have a good neighborhood they go to for trick or treating my current neighborhood is pretty spaced out between houses and there’s only like 5 houses here. My kids hit a good trick or treating age this year and I really want them to have a blast. Please let me know any good spots!
Looking for new local restaurants in Ocala to try. I’m not too picky, and willing to try new things.
For me I’d recommend Gyro Grill off 200.
Are any bars having Halloween events today-Saturday?
I'm unable to get a loan at the moment and none of my family or friends can help me out. I need $80 by the end of today for rent.
I work online mainly, I have a license in office, have a background in office work aka bookkeeping, scheduling, office notes, etc. I'm willing to work for the money guys.
If anyone has anything they need done over the computer or even the phone please let me know, I wouldn't be asking on here if it wasn't a last resort.
Edit* thank you to the person I will not name due to privacy issues that helped me out in my time of need, fr you guys are amazing. It's really hard for me to ask for any kind of help and I'm really glad I did this time. Once again thank you.
Living here for almost 10 years now and EVERYTIME I get stuck in traffic I can’t help but think, “what the F… is here that everyone is cramming themselves into Marion county for?” The traffic compared to the LACK of diversity & actual things to do outside of eat at a roach infested chain restaurant, walk around WEC & go to the millions of car washes there are , just doesn’t add up. What’s everyone moving here for ? It’s not even affordable.
Side note and honorable mention: I am 25 years old with no kids/ no husband . Moved with family at the time- life happens/ couldn’t move out sooner .
I have a Toyota CH-R and have decided to keep it. Love my little vroom vroom with 1 exception. I'm short and I need a way to either limit how far up the hatch can go, install a motor in the back to allow for me to lower it. It doesn't need to be controlled from the dash. Toss me some ideas/recommendations! Thanks
We have never gotten trick or treating in our neighborhood in summerfield. Im not going to directly say the name, but come around the areas near US-441 north and go through the neighborhoods. They are lit, and clean.
Never felt the need to write a review on a place before, but this one absolutely requires it!
Poke Go is right across from the Texas Roadhouse at Paddock Mall, and it has legitimately become my absolute favorite place to eat in Ocala. Their food is downright incredible, the poke bowls are the freshest and best I’ve ever had. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon are 🔥🔥🔥. They also have ramen, which was awesome. To be honest, I can’t compare it to anything because I’d never actually eaten true ramen anywhere else before, but on its own it was amazing. I will absolutely be trying more of the ramen varieties they have. The prices on everything are also super reasonable. Poke bowls and ramen bowls are about $13-$15.
Lastly, the lady that owns the place is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Super friendly and an absolute joy to talk to.
They just opened 5 months ago, and I genuinely think it’s one of the best places to eat in Ocala. Do yourself a favor and go eat there!
Hey there, I (31F) have been in Ocala for about two years and I’ve barely made friends and have been so beyond disappointed with trying. I downloaded a dating app and set it to friends and even that was extremely unsettling with the messages people would send. Im genuinely surprised at the way the guys would talk. I’m just looking for good people to hang out with and spend some time outdoors.
Does anyone have any recommendations for where to meet genuine people and just hangout?

What’s everyone’s experience with cell coverage in Marion Oaks? I know it probably varies depending on which part of the area you're in, but any insights on which carrier works best?
Hit my hubby up! He's amazing at what he does !
Does anyone know what’s going on? I’ve seen 2 police that look like they’re cutting off the roads leading to the mall and I keep hearing more rushing that way.
Anyone know of restaurants open for dinner on Christmas?
Is there any company that do window glass replacement. It’s a restaurant, we need someone to replace one of the windows. Somebody just threw a rock and broke the window. I called so many companies but they don’t.
Does anyone know a spot in or around Ocala where I can find soup dumplings? I’ve tried looking online but haven’t found a restaurant that serves them. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations!
I've called several and been told they will come out and I keep getting no showed. Home is around 1500 sq ft on the south side just off 200. Anyone have any recommendations?
