Like what the title says, I was excited to go to OSU but unlike all my other colleges my Sat's weren't received. After I realized, I sent them bit later but it ended up pushing my application to rd. I understand that this is my fault but I am wondering if I could still get accepted for scholarship like the National Buckeye Scholarship. Since without the scholarships it's not really feasible for me to go to OSU since out of state is too expensive for me to even consider.
Currently struggling in stat 3201 and feel a bit behind. Any advice? YouTube video recommendations? I haven’t had the chance to attend tutoring yet but plan to go tomorrow
Here are some review notes I took for the midterm tomorrow night! Let me know if you find them useful :)

give me as many tips and tricks as you can on the exams and how to study please
Am I delusional or did I just hear gunshots near 9th Ave
Wanting to try some kettle bell exercises, but can’t find them in the gyms. Anyone know where to find them on campus?
(Also trying to goblet squat with a dumbbell in RPAC will make your eyes water. They smell SO bad.)
As an incoming pre-mechanical engineer what’s going to be my best bet for residence halls?
Is it smarter to wait for financial aid packages before committing? Or just commit? Because I feel like I’m missing opportunities and I won’t be able to apply for things like housing early. I just don’t want to be in debt and not know how much financial aid I have 🤷🏽♀️
I have been admitted to OSU for CS. Assuming, I am out of state how is the CS program? I see you have to apply for CS but is it guaranteed as long you meet the basic requirements? Assume money is not a issue for me
How do you get an A on his exams? I'm nervous for the upcoming midterm.
Hi guys, I am currently a freshman at OSU and also an international student. I will be going back home in the summer and can't take all my things with me. What is the best company to rent a storage space from and do you guys have any recommendations or any other ideas? Please do help. Thank you in advance!
Hey guys, me and my friend are 1st year chemistry PhD girls looking for more girl friends to meet/hangout with in other graduate programs! Tired of the lack of girl energy in our department: we love to hangout, watch say yes to the dress, serve curnt, go out, yap and eat😋. Pm so we can def do a study hangout <3
Hi everyone! I was recently accepted for the MSW Program, starting this summer! I’m super excited, and was just curious if anyone knew when financial aid packages were usually available for the summer? I know class registration is later this month, I just like to plan ahead, especially when it comes to grad school. Thanks in advance :)
So I signed a lease because it was the cheapest apartment I could find, but now I’m realizing the area might be the most dangerous. What do I do? How bad is this area really?
Does anyone take it this semester or took last semester? Any class notes or syllabus can share? Any feeling about this class and what Professor you recommend? Thanks.
Hey everyone, are academic buildings open on weekends? I have a paper to write and I was hoping to snag a table in a quiet location.
Are ANY academic buildings open on weekends? Or is it just the one that my major allows 24/7 access to?
Have exam, just wondering
Hi all - For those who have received this prestigious scholarship, can you offer up any advice? Currently a HS junior who plans on studying Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or Neuroscience (pre-med undergraduate, so I am hoping to receive a merit package for undergrad studies, knowing that I have many more years of schooling and costs to follow). GPA 99.35/106.4, 1540 SAT, 35 ACT, will have 10+ AP courses completed by graduation. Class President, HOBY Ambassador, Soaring Valor WW2 Experience, Best Buddies, West Point Leadership Experience, two sport varsity athlete/captain, certified lifeguard, and a good deal of service and leadership experience to add to my resume. I'm mentioning all of this because there are thousands of other candidates who are equally, or more, deserving of such scholarships. Any advice on what I can do between now and the fall when the application frenzy begins to make myself stand out? Thank you for any feedback!
instead of going to OU or capital for my freshman year, i decided to go to CC. and ngl, my freshman year has been pretty boring. i didnt get the traditional freshman experience. all ive really done was grind on my school work and stay at home. ive gotten so much fomo from seeing people having friends and going to parties their freshman year, and i really regret not going to a university.
i say all this to say, can i get a similar freshman experience but as a sophomore transfer at OSU? ive been pretty bummed out as i heard that people usually have their established friend groups and cliques their sophomore year.
additionally, is there any advice or anything i should know as a sophomore transfer that would help me?
Does anyone know how to get a new advisor? My current advisor is new this year and has continued to give me false information every time we’ve spoken and I’m so close to graduation that I can’t afford lies. I’ve never had to switch before and can’t see a spot in buckeyelink/oncourse.
TIA.
I was recently admitted into OSU and I was wondering if anyone knows roughly when they notify admitted students about any merit scholarships.
Hey guys, just a quick question. I'm currently a senior in high school and I've been accepted into Ohio State. I logged into my BuckeyeMail stuff and I saw that ScholarshipUniverse thing. Only thing I'm confused about is if I can only apply to the stuff on there if I know 100% I'm going to Ohio State? I'm still deciding where I'm going to go but I really want to take advantage of these scholarships its matching me to. I'm aware the website says "ScholarshipUniverse is open to currently enrolled students as well as incoming students," but I'm not sure if I count as an incoming student since I haven't accepted the offer to go to OSU.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
I'm sure many of you have experienced the same issue, but I now don't receive any emails to my .osu.edu email.
I have contacted OSU's IT department and it was basically useless.
I have banking, medical bills, insurance, all connected to this email and I cannot change any of it because I don't receive any emails to my alumni email.
Has anyone found a fix to this because this is a complete disaster.
Hey everyone! I’m thinking of taking biochem 4511 in the summer. It’s an 8 week session and it will be the only class that I’m taking. How hard do you think this class will be given that it will be accelerated? Would it be harder than ochem? Any advice will be appreciated!
The title says it all. This is blatant hypocrisy by conservatives. They will rail against DEI initiatives and safe spaces on campus but then claim to be marginalized in academia. Hopefully now they will shut up about how DEI ruins everything and safe spaces make college students weak.
I currently am at Purdue, but have always wanted to go to Ohio state. Is the school really as good as people make it seem?
Has anyone evere switched sections in a class this late in? I have my reasons to switch but looking for advice on if it's possible if I talk to an advisor and professor.
Does anyone know if there is a place on campus where we can print stickers? Like some sort of maker studio or something? Or does anyone know of a cheap place for clubs to print stickers?
