I'm creating sort of a comic but I need a somewhat unique looking tertiary/side character in the story. Is there a way to keep them consistent in appearance in different poses/scenes? For example hairstyle, clothing type and color etc.

Is it even possible in V3? Or would something in Stable Diffusion be a better solution for this ? Thanks.

I googled this and understand sometimes your browser's cache will be cleared or something and you'll lose all your stories.

Very strange to me I lost all stories I've worked on recently but I'm left with many stories from the time before 3 months ago. I still have most of them but I would have expected to lose my old stories if something like this happened, not the ones I was actively working on.

Switched to remote storage which I falsely believed was the default, still weird it's only a partial loss.

How to amke storytelling give you long answers instead of brief responses?

This have not been an issue for me ever since they changed how the story is displayed a while back, but I guess after 3 years writing the same story I might be hitting the limit of how much it helps. Now the interface is stuttering while typing. It still didn't reach the level of being unusable, but it may only get worse over time if this is happening due to the story size.

So I want to know if that's really the cause, or if I'm just making a connection where there isn't. Have anyone else run into this after the last time they optimized the platform? Is there anything I can do to avoid this? (besides scrapping the whole story and starting over)?

I can’t figure out how to use this to read a whole story from start to finish. It only shows the option if I double click on text and then expand it but if I try to expand it too far that the page scrolls, or try to select all, it just shows the normal iPhone cut, copy, paste etc options. Is there a better way to do this? I’ve never used this program on a desktop only on my phone.

we don't need to stay sticked to use novelai for generating those characters, but I've noticed that some people on pixiv accomplish with only novelai. I sent them comment or DM. However, they not responde. Hence I'm here to ask you let me know your experiences.

The first two methods I thought of were i2i and vibe transfer, but I found that the results fell short of the target character design.

There anything I can do to make the AI write characters more ‘logically’ or is that something you have to steer yourself? Sometimes a character would just double, triple, quadruple down so hard that you might think that they’re insane.

It’s like you poke them as a joke and then they decide that they’re gonna end the world, or they’re just really agreeable for absolutely no reason, you could ask them to kill their entire lineage and they’d go ‘Okay that makes sense.’

Or maybe I should just stop trying to treat this as an infinite text adventure generator and go play actual TA or DND ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I wish there was a setting similar to xoul.ai so you can skewer them towards doing something that aligns more with their character. But maybe that’s the limit of AI.

Hi all, I am trying to use the AI to assist me in some creative writing, and I am currently unable to get to the page. It seems to want to try, but I only get a blank white page.

 Is anyone else having this issue? I am trying on Opera GX and Chrome. Is there a setting I am missing? If so, can someone help me? I can access the site from my phone, but I have everything for what I am writing on my desktop.

I need help creating characters similar to this. I play a tabletop rpg with my friends for fun, it's nothing big. When a character appeared I would simply take a random photo from Google and say "that's what he looks like". But this character ended up becoming more important in the game and I wanted to create some images of him to use in the story, but as he is not a famous character I am having difficulties. Any help is appreciated!

I tried novelai and I don’t think it is the tool for me. Maybe I’m just using it wrong. I’m not looking for AI to generate story or plot ideas. I create my own stories and characters. I know exactly what I want. AI can help me implement those ideas from summaries, notes, or partial text segments.

It seems that novelai is a story editor where I write my own story and AI can add to my story when I click a button. It tried to take my story in directions I did not want.

Am I missing something?

For some reason the V4 model has a really bad time making nighttime images or even dark areas. Do any of you have the same problem as I do? I mean, I can't create AI images of a character that's in nighttime, or in a dark area in V4, why is that? The V3 model never has a problem with that. Or even V1 for that matter. And sorry for the bad title.

What's going on?

This is an image generation question relevant to V3 (but recommendations for V4 is also appreciated) that I'm unsure how to handle per se...

May I have suggestions on tags or prompt structure to frame the context of my images like if the character is working/acting in-setting? Like, the character themselves is just working an actress/actor for a movie, specifically between cuts or as if it's a quick day-in-the-life segment during their workday.

Mostly I'd like to see like movie equipment in the background, or film staff (which is a mess, since it generally just adds "extras" in the scene).

When I use "fake video" or "fake filming" (or variations of such), there's issues. Often they screw with the visual/artistic style (making it more "realistic" and/or how the image is colored). Sometimes I think it purposefully makes characters look a little "off" to match the "fake" part of the tags, as if they're a cosplayer/impersonator. "Filming" often adds a recording viewfinder frame too (like an old camcorder), unless I waste UC specifying I don't want that.

If I try to add filming equipment (cameras, stage lights, etc.), it's often the character holding the equipment when they're supposed to be "acting" in the scene.

"Actress" for whatever reason has a tendency to nuke the expressions for the character, forcing their faces dour/serious/neutral.

I've played with various UC prompts to dance around this for the issues, but I'm wondering if I'm just not using actual prompt tags that would get me what I want. (I admit an issue could be that I'm desperately avoiding "natural" language in V3, but IME it makes things worse or focuses on specific words as tags.)

Seems like Coreweave/NovelAI is down because it keeps telling me it's unable to connect and check my internet, which happens to be completely fine since I am playing Genshin as I use the site.

Can't generate images anything and it logged me out for literally no reason too, site won't even load either. It did briefly but can't login anymore. Seriously? I wasn't even logged in for 30 days either. Can't sign back in either. It's just stuck on "loading". Login failed to fetch appeared too, something along those lines.
