Even bad boys gotta eat but what do they reach for to curb those hangry urges? Let's find out!
Hello,
I am having trouble finding yi mien noodles locally here in Cambridge, MA, USA (the kind that is fried before drying and used to make the longevity noodles dish). Can anyone suggest a close substitute that might be easier to find?
Tried the extra spicy flavor because I thought spicy for sure wouldn’t have any sweetness. Low and behold, it’s like a sweet and savory. It threw me off. I don’t like my noodles to be sweet. I’m gonna stick with Shin x
Hi all. I’m in the US and recently came across a recommendation for Lucky Boat noodles as a great dry noodle for stir-fry. I’ve done an initial search and haven’t found typical suppliers for this brand. It appears to be UK based(?).
I’ve tried a bunch of brands over the last few years, and only Twin Marquis had a particular noodle that I really enjoyed. But, it wasn’t a dry noodle that I could buy in bulk. Appreciate any help. :)
I'm making ramen noodles as per ramen lords book of ramen recipe. He suggests gardenia-based yellow colouring powder but I don't have easy access to that. Im wondering if a slight pinch of curcuma or turmeric would colour the noodles without messing with the end result.
It's lunchtime again in the studio, time to dive face first into another spicy cup of ramen!
No veg, just a sachet of salty curry-flavoured dust.
