Halloween Sunset

I took this last night, I am not a great photographer by any means, but really liked this. Thought it was very Halloweeny.

Windsor’s Scariest Halloween Decoration

Just like the title says, this is the scariest Halloween decoration around.

Also, weird flex as the party of law and order to be proud to be electing a convicted felon, but what do I know. 🤷🏻‍♀️

To the phone wrangler who called me on behalf of Yadira.

I did just get done with my work out. Hence the breathing hard. Although you did have a great voice. I did already vote. Plus now i am pissed off about all the texts and calls.

Spend your time and money else where. This is not a swing state. Plus, minus all of people in from out of state. We are educated and know who to vote for. Spend your money where it is necessary. Small businesses. Renewable energy. And maybe donations to homeless. Those are the people that mater and sooner than later are going to be the majority in voting people.

does UNCO allow international students to enroll in their online programs?

hey, as the title says i wanted to know if international students were allowed to enroll in their 100% online programs? On the website it mentioned the states that they allow but it doesn’t like specify that international students are not allowed so I wanted to ask on here because they aren’t replying to emails and Reddit for the university is locked.

7 eleven stealing card information

Do not use your debit/credit cards at the 7 eleven or the atm on 52 and Frederick Way in Frederick CO. They steal your information and use it or sell it. My card was fraudulently used a few months ago at gas station atm in Aurora (I had only used this specific card at this 7 eleven) Then today my fiances card was fraudulently used, they took all his money out also at an atm in Aurora. We both have our physical cards, and they were able to get our card number and pin. It has been confirmed by an employee that this has happened to other people in the last few months and stated it's the atm. A police report has been filed. This needs to stop!

Help us pick a town to move to

Hi NoCo folks! My fiancé (43M) and myself (39F) are planning to move to and buy a house in NoCo in the next 2-3 years from the east coast. We're looking for options for towns to move to. Here are some criteria important for us:

  • we're childfree (education/schools are NOT important to us)
  • house max budget is 800/850K
  • strong/robust internet infrastructure as we both work from home
  • live within an hour drive from Denver
  • hubby is a private pilot (side hobby) and will appreciate a small airport within a half hour that he can travel to, as well as a local airplane club (if possible)
  • live within a reasonable distance from the Rocky Mtns as we are avid hikers
  • we don't want to be directly IN a major city; we're looking to be outside of a major city
  • we like the quiet; ok living in a house more in/towards the mtns, though within a half hour of stores/grocery/small town mountain life.

Thank you in advance! Also, if there is another CO subreddit we should also post in, please let me know.

ISO Tattoo artist specializing in Medieval/Renaissance/Baroque styles

AND/OR architectural/historical tattoos in general!

If the artist/studio has an instagram I'd love to check it out. I'm also open to any studio or artist in colorado as a whole but wasn't able to make this post on r/colorado since they don't allow this sort of thing.

Thanks for any suggestions in advance!

Moving Disabled Dad to CO - Help!

Hi friends! I am beginning the process of moving my disabled, 70 year old father to the area from another state. He has limited mobility and is in need of a more-or-less accessible space (really the only two main requirements are walk-in shower/standing shower and no stairs). I have already spoken with the Larimer Office on Aging folks (who were very helpful), but I’m still in need of some help – so, Reddit hail mary to see what info I can gather! Thanks in advance for any advice at all whatsoever!

My father’s only income is his social security, and so an expensive senior apartment is the last option, as I’d have to supplement his rent to afford it and I am the only income in a two person (two dog) household. (Needless to say, things are already tight and I just don’t know how much I can contribute.) The income-restricted housing authority options would probably be the ideal option, but they all have a very long wait list (years), and I am hoping to move him here ASAP (his health is declining and he really needs my support - I imagine we have less time rather than more). As far as I’m able to discern, the other alternatives to senior apartments and housing authority options are private rentals/property management rentals. This is a perfectly acceptable alternative, but I’m really struggling to find an *affordable* option that has 1) no stairs to access the unit and 2) a walk-in/stand up shower. Right now where he is living, he is only paying about $800 for his senior apartment, so in a perfect world I’d find something around there in terms of comparable rent (I know, I know….lol right?...a girl can dream…), but really anything under $1500 I think we can swing.

So! Does anyone have any ideas about either additional resources to help me in my search or other strategies/places where the aforementioned criteria are satisfied and the cost is not exorbitant? Ideally, I’d have him in Loveland or FoCo, but at this point I’m willing to go as far north as Wellington, as far east as (west) Greeley, and about as far south as Longmont; really, anywhere in that radius. As I stated before, totally open to private rentals (including flats), they would just need to meet the aforementioned criteria. Literally any ideas at all would be so very, very appreciated. Thanks immensely, friends!
