I'm looking for sites similar to those mentioned in the title, that is, ones that broadcast retro cartoons and series or any other content like movies, for example, and that have the features that nickreboot and toonami aftermath had, such as the ability to see what was coming up next or showing a more elaborate programming schedule.
Obviously, they should be live broadcasting channels.
By the way, does anyone know if there's any hope that Nick Reboot will come back?
I’d sort of abandoned it over the last few months and some of the links to the content have gone dead- who wants to help me find them?
If you do, there’s a (private) sub I can invite you to- r/NRebootContent
OldReboot is just like Nick Reboot just with many more channels. I can't finish this project bc i don't have enough people who are willing to help me. So, if you know
How to:
Then please, tell me!
The Tampermonkey add on only worked for those who had it installed already, so new links that aren’t sourced from Drive are being added as we speak.
The one and only that still has the Drive links (for now) is Fifteen but we’re working on that.
Relive your childhood beautifully :)
If anybody wants to help, please tell me :)
Firstly we need some people who are tech whizzes- I’m not. Content wise we know where to find some of the stuff that’s streaming but we’re not quite sure how to rip them.
Secondly, we’re looking for editors- mainly for shows like SpongeBob/FairlyOddparents with two segments- so that we can separate them sometimes, but also have joint episodes.
Are there any updates on the progress of the site besides the site's login page coming back online and people being given invites? The Facebook page hasn't had any new posts since February.
Edit: To everyone asking for invites. I CAN'T! I'm not a part of the site. I'm just asking for any updates.
Hey all I remember I used to have registered before the servers went down, and now I see a invite and login. I even tried forgot password but nothing came through.
Anyone could send me a invite ? :( I totally miss my childhood and the shows :(
If anyone has a invite please help me get one! :((
i need an invite if possible
I ask because whilst I’m adding some cartoon episodes back to the stream, a lot of them are 2-3 segment cartoons. Can anybody help me edit them down to 3 separate segments.
This isn’t in place of airing the full episodes- this is just in addition to. For example, the Hey Arnold Heat/Snow episode… some times when it airs we’ll include both segments, sometimes just Heat, and sometimes just Snow.
If anybody could help me with editing these things together, much appreciated :)
Anyone know where you can watch all episodes of Figure It Out?
NR hasn't gone away at all :)
It's still here- I'm re-adding all the classic NR content, and I'm adding some new ones.
What we have so far is Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Fifteen, The Amanda Show, Jimmy Neutron, All That, Aah Real Monsters, and Chalkzone. There's still more to come, so don't worry if your favourite toon, movie, gameshow, live action show etc isn't there- it will be in due course. For some of the shows, they require a drive userscript that only works if you already have it installed though- I'm currently working on getting new links that don't require any of that.
As well as that, if anybody was getting bored of the same old shows in rotation- we've decided on something new- if a show aired on Nickelodeon *anywhere in the world*, it's allowed. Thomas the Tank Engine has recently been added- that aired on UK Nick for years.
Speaking of which, this may be something a lot of you are happy with, something others may not be- but we've decided to allow Nick Jr and preschool shows from now on, on the basis that they aired on Nickeldeon, and this is a Nickelodeon stream. Don't worry about your old favourites being abandoned though- I can assure you we will only be adding a handful of episodes from a handful of preschool shows sporadically. Maybe as a weekend block :)
We've also decided to extend the cutoff to 2009.... introduce a new generation to NR- anything that aired on the channel whilst it still had the Splat Logo is allowed here. So that means the likes of Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ned's Declassified, Unfabulous, and S1-2 of iCarly. However, this will not come into effect until *after* all the content from the previous cutoff point has been re-added.
There's also a CN stream and a Disney stream we're working on too :)
Commercials are on their way too.
Themed nights on occasion too- e.g. around Halloween, a Halloween marathon featuring all your favourite Nick specials. Around Christmas, all your favourite Nick holiday specials. On the anniversary of say, Spongebob- we might have a Spongebob marathon.
Honestly, we have big big plans for the stream.
Also, any lost media aficionados, content collectors etc- don't be afraid to PM me- luckily most of what we have now is found media compared to in NR's time. I think it's mainly just a few All That eps, and some game show ones missing :)
Edit:*90s/00s
I didn't really go on this site that much, but I respected it. It didn't really make sense to me why it was claiming to be "fair use" when it clearly wasn't at all, and I questioned the legality of their site asking for donations. But just conceptually, having a live stream of old shows with old commercials and a chat box was really cool. I don't recall it overly spamming the same shows like Toonami Aftermath does either. There was actual variety.
I didn't really think much of it later, and I got Paramount+ during the pandemic because of the variety of classic nicktoons it has in its library. I got Max (formally known as HBO Max) for the same reason, only with Cartoon Network and Adult Swim.
Though something that really bothers me about streaming services, and devices like the Roku or Apple TV, is that there's not any kind of playlist option for individual episodes. There's something called a watchlist, which allows you to watch a different show after completing the ENTIRETY of another, but there's no option to create a compilation of individual episodes from different shows. I don't understand why this isn't a thing. I also don't understand why old marketing for shows isn't preserved or released to the public by these companies (like those CN City ads for example. Cartoon Network's social media literally has HD uploads of them, so it's clear that they have them. Viacom keeps shutting down LSSQ's videos over showcasing old footage of The Me & My Friends pilot DESPITE NOT RELEASING IT THEMSELVES).
Paramount+ has a list of "live channels" though, which air compilations of different shows. When I went to the "Animation Favorites" channel however, I checked their schedule, and it's literally just a repeat of the same shows for HOURS. And it's only FOUR SHOWS. SpongeBob (and its spin offs), The Fairly Oddparents, the Rugrats reboot, and Loud House (and The Casagrandes).
This then led me to looking at what cable's offering, and while I'm happy to see that Checkered Past is now a thing on adult swim, along with the reruns of Regular Show they've been airing recently (they also did Powerpuff Girls reruns for the 25th anniversary but then just stopped doing it after the month ended, which I wish they hadn't), I looked into Teen Nick to see if they still had the 90s Are All That/Splat/Nick Rewind block, only to find out that it was removed a few years ago just to focus on their teen sitcoms. Why!? Wasn't the block what gave it high ratings!? That was the only reason I watched the network!
Finally, that led me to at least seeing if Nreboot/CNreboot was still a thing, only to expectedly see that Viacom tracked down on it and ultimately shut the site down.
So let me get this straight...
Viacom, shut down a live stream site showing of their old shows and has the AUDACITY of shutting down their OWN 90s block at the same time, and doesn't give any sort of legal official/alternative option of their own? How dumb are they!?
And this company wonders why it's failing...
(I also heard they're making a live action Danny Phantom movie 🤢). In my opinion, outside of the creation of Glitch Techs, Nickelodeon hasn't been good since like 2005. They seem to not have a grasp at how to handle these old IPs outside of video games and merch. And their new shows are either preexisting IPs that didn't originate from Nickelodeon, and/or are complete garbage.
Hell! I don't even know if a live stream from Viacom themselves would be that good either. They shut down a fan-made SpongeBob Roblox server called The Spongey Construction Project that was impressively well-made and honestly looked official. Afterwards, they made their own and it looked absolutely inferior in comparison.
I hope that documentary about Dan Schneider that releases tonight causes a larger boycott for them. Fuck Nickelodeon man! They treat their employees badly and don't even seem to care for their own fans. Isn't it funny that they also declined to comment on the John K situation while Adult Swim did?
I miss the community and all the people I had talked to while watching late night shows. My favorite to this day was getting over competitive with others as we watched legends of the hidden temple and other game shows. I hope you all are doing well in life, may the reboot come back one day.
Got a sudden hankering for it yesterday, looked up the status of everything, saw Project Firebird and then saw that it’s been dormant since last year.
It was honestly so magical to be able to be transported back in time like that, and to get to share the experience with a bunch of other nostalgic Nick fans was incredible.
I’m chronically ill and my health is on a downward trend and I really hope something gets up and running while I can still enjoy it.
Viacom is the ever loving WORST. That is all 🙃
Hello, was on nickreboot back in the day and even though there's been several imitators nothing ever has touched the original. That being said I found a site recently called nickreboot dot TV but when you get there it just asks for a username and password. Wondering if anyone knows about this site and if it's legit and how to get in. Would love to watch the old stream again, or something similar!
My username was hippylove94 and I made a lot of good friends on this site back around 2014ish I think? It was a blast connecting with everyone while watching the classics. Miss it so much
I saw this on the Facebook page and am wondering what it's about. I sadly never got to experience Nick Reboot before it shut down and I am hoping this will fix that. Is this something that's going to be coming soon? If so hopefully Viacom will keep their greedy hands off of it this time.
I'm not sure how many of you guys are still out there checking this sub, but I'm feeling a bit nostalgic and I just wanted to thank everybody for making NR so amazing while it lasted.
I was obsessed with Nickelodeon growing up in the late '80s and early '90s, and kicking it with a bunch of old-school Nick heads every day really helped me get through a rough patch in my life. I loved hanging out in the chat, especially for the game shows, Fifteen, Pete & Pete, Salute Your Shorts and the commercial breaks.
I just found out about ScrubTV (I've been out of the loop lately) and I've been having a blast watching Nick Arcade, Get the Picture, Make the Grade and Double Dare this afternoon, but the Reboot era was a really special time that will never be replicated, so I just wanted to stop by and say thank you to the NR crew for the great memories. Purple Parrot gang for life.
Can't find anything. Miss the site.
Anyone know where I can find any episodes from season 1 of this show?
I want to download some Double Dare 2000 episodes for a little project but I can't seem to find anything on the internet
Back in college, I would study and just have it streaming in the background. It was oddly comforting to have some old cartoons and shows I loved playing. I was absolutely CRUSHED when they shut it down. I’m happy to do see there’s a community for it on this platform.
