Hi , has anyone taken this course at Niagara? Is it worth it? Also looking at admin office-executive program at Niagara and if anyone has done it?
Hi! I might be accepting my offer to the broadcasting program. I was thinking of going the TV or radio path. I was hopping for some honest feedback about the class, especially with co ops. Thanks!
Hi, I live in calgary and am interested in taking the pre- health sciences online at niagara college and wanted to know if anyone has had a similar situation where they took this program while living outside of the province. As well as would like to know some insight on this program please.
This is my first time ever applying to college and I didn’t really know what I was doing- I just applied tonight for a program that starts in January. I didn’t know there was deadlines for applying and I don’t really know what to do now since I’m very well past the deadline (deadline was in June or July) anyone have any suggestions? Or information? Is it still possible to be accepted? Or did I just royally fuck up :( I figured since it was an online course it wouldn’t matter (I don’t know if this adds anymore information but it’s a full time, online business course)
Hi there, posted this last year but never got an answer and missed open house to ask. What is the kind of camera now being used for photography and what is all in the kit? I know it’s Nikon and kinda expensive (3000+) but I already shoot mirrorless and wondering if they’re still getting DSLRs, the compatibility of them aren’t future proof for a career in the field. Anyway, let me know if you know lol
Hi all,
I just applied to the ABS program this evening! I'm in my 4th year at Brock!
Has anyone taken or is currently in the program who can share their experience? How easy was it to find a work placement?
Has anyone else applied to this program or other Grad Certificate programs? I'd love to connect with incoming students! :)
I have never done this before.
I have 20 years experience with support work. My background is a police foundations diploma and a 2 year general arts and science diploma as well.
I’m looking at the social service worker program with the transition for a bachelors either through Niagara university or another option.
My question is are:
What is my best option for a decent BA in psych as my goal is to be a counsellor.
Does the Niagara college BA program have room to do MSW at any other university?
Lastly, I have a mortgage , car etc etc
I need to still work part time, what is the best online courses for college / university towards the above as well
Thank you guys
Applying for colleges at the moment and wondering if this program is worth my time. Has anyone had any success with this program and how did it go? did you get a stable job after it even though it is only an advanced diploma?
Hello! I have just applied for the jan 25 motive power technician course.
My question is what am i required to purchase in order to be successful in this course? I see the website says a laptop (what kind do you use?)
Do I need to be myself some tools as well? If not would it be useful to buy some?

It's my first Reddit so I don't know how to phrase this, but I'm gonna ask... Is the acting for film and digital media course at Niagara college good?
I'm hoping to get into the dental hygiene program and would like to see what my timetable could look like. I heard from a lot of people that working while in this program is pretty difficult, so just wanted to see how the classes are distributed. I'm most interested in thr first 2 semesters, but would be informative to see different ones.
Does anyone know anything about this course and is it easy to find a job afterward? Just looking for some opinions. I've heard computer programming and the network and cloud one are better, but they don't start until September.
I left my bike at niagara college without a lock for a bit and when i came back the bike was missing. What do i do
Hey guys, I came on here to see if anyone has completed the Human Resources post graduate program?
I would love to reach out and have a conversation with anyone who is currently in this program or has completed it in the past.
I just want to find out if it’s a worth applying here or not.
Anyone graduated from this course?
Anyone graduated from the SSW program? Pros and cons of it? Any luck finding work post graduation? Tried applying to Mohawk and it’s been nothing but a nightmare, already missed the first week and because of the issues we’re having I might not even be able to start for at least another month. NC is closer, but is the program comparable? It doesn’t seem as intense as Mohawk.
Hey, my coming here in the winter semester and I need help to find my student number. How would I find it?
Hello NC Redditors! 👋
I’m trying to help my younger cousin get out of an uncomfortable off-campus housing situation in Welland.
Can anyone help point me in the direction of a reliable place to look for rooms for rent near the Welland campus? She has a vehicle, and bedroom furnishings.
As the title says, are there choices? Which is better?
Can somebody give insights on how this program is like? How is workload? Is placement okay...? What is a weekly schedule like?
I was wondering if anyone here has taken the general math test I believe it’s a mature student test.
Would love to know what to expect on this test to help prepare. The sample questions are only 1 page long so I’d like to see if anyone has more info.
Thanks!
Hey! I’m having problems with my teeth and want to visit a dentist. I want to use Guard me to help me pay for it. I was wondering how does the whole thing work. Like can I go to any dentistry or some specific ones? Do i pay and then make a claim? If anyone knows anything please let me know. Thank you! :)
For anyone who has used the fitness centre on Welland campus, how is it? Is it usually busy during the week? I'd be going Tuesdays. What are the opening-closing hours? Do you have reliable access to a locker when going? How is it in terms of cleanliness? Finally, is there a pec deck machine there? Couldn't see one in the virtual tour.
Thanks in advance.
Has anyone taken the barbering accelerated 2 year diploma at Niagara College and have a sample timetable to share? Trying to see if it’s possible to work at the same time but can’t find what a sample semester is like.
I am thinking of applying supply chain and operations program. I am 30 years old and I completed my high school in different country. My questions are ; 1-) what is the chance of me being accepted for this program after I am done with my application? 2-) Program offers work placement. Do college find employees/companies in the field or students do that themselves ? 3-) What is the job prospect for graduates ? I know there are other factors to affect this but my question is more like a broad spectrum of job market for grads of this program. Thanks
I am taking a pre-health to try and get into a dental hygiene program in the future. I know that 1850 will be easier to get higher grades, but 1851 has harder classes that the college may prefer? I’m wondering if it would look bad in applications to take the easier route. What are your recommendations?
I'm starting a course at Niagara College in the September 2024 intake at the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus. I'm curious about where most students live since St. Catharines and Niagara Falls are nearby. Which town has the most accessible bus route to the college and lower crime rates? Also, are there part-time job opportunities in these towns? Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
i just finished my first year of a program. i liked it fine but i want to do something else instead. can i switch programs? or do i have to start all over again?
