Hello! I wanted to know which are the best diners in the niagara region (st. catharines or niagara falls?). I wanted to go for breakfast and have pancakes/waffles. Is Dohboy's diner good?
Does anyone know if there are any local buildings or community centres that have a public piano that I can use?
Also if anyone has any recommendations or knows a piano tuner - please let me know in the comments.
TIA

Looking for recommendations for the best wineries to visit at NOTL, specifically in the winter. I am a dry red drinker (which I know the region is not known for) and my husband does not drink wine. However we are doing our first post baby weekend away at NOTL in March. I am all about the ambience for this trip, so if any of the interiors of the wineries are specifically pretty or have fireplaces I am in. Likewise if there are any other restaurants or breweries that fit this I would love suggestions!! Also if there happens to be a decent dry red at any of the wineries I am totally in. We are staying at Pillar and Post but will be driving or ubering to different wineries on the Saturday of our visit.
Hello Everyone
Are there job boards for ice wine pickers somewhere? I can't see them. I was hoping to work on the vines this winter and make some extra cash. Does anyone have any insight into this?
my landlord asked me to put up a privacy screen on my windows because they are using part of the home i rent as an airbnb. at first it was put up as a favour, however now i don't like the privacy covering and i want to take them off. am i legally allowed to?
Does anyone know the best place to park to be able to stay in one’s vehicle and watch the tractors go by?
This is in reference to the tractor parade in NOTL this evening.
My son is 4 and would love it, but he has a chronic lung condition and cannot sit in this cold for a long period of time.
I’m hoping I can still take him to see the parade tonight, but keep him warm in the car.
Thank you!
Guys, I need the good answer here, please.
My daughter turns 16 and as present - we flynto NY from UK, and we will have 1 week in NY. It will be February.
As we already crossing the pond, I was thinking maybe to spend 2 days of our trip to visit Niagara falls.
Initially my 0lan was to rake like kight train or something ir order not to waste a day, but all I can find are day trains, which takes like 12 hrs..
Alternative is to rent a car for 2 days and leave Ny early mornijg, drive 7 hrs (according Google), spend night in Buffalo, see niagara falls next day and trip back, arrivingl NY late evenijg of same day.
8s tjis biable? How lojg time to spend there? We would not 0pan to take boat trip 9r something...
How to plan such visit, how long would it take or I would need another day here?
Maybe flying is another option?
Thanks in advance!
The Ontario Liberal Party attempted something of a rebrand of their leader, Bonnie Crombie at the start of December. At their leadership dinner fundraiser, the party brought in $1.65 million for their coffers before an expected spring 2025 Ontario election. However, what made headlines was her keynote address where she broke ranks with their federal cousins and denounced the Carbon Tax, calling it a mistake and vowing not to implement one should she become Premier. This after years of the Ontario PC's branding her as a Trudeau Carbon Tax Liberal. In addition to that announcement, Bonnie Crombie also announced her support of funding police departments across the province. This is on the heels of many runaway policing budgets, as municipalities struggle to get their finances under control.
This sharp turn to the right, in search of chipping away at Doug Ford's base, has alienated many progressives in Ontario. Many of them are Ontario Liberal supporters who now feel alienated from the party. Will this rebranding of Bonnie Crombie 2.0 pay off?
To discuss this, we invited onto the podcast Evan Scrimshaw of Scrimshaw Unscripted. Evan has been openly critical of the Ontario Liberals as of late and his recent substack article has taken to task this recent strategy of the Ontario Liberals and made us question how viable their chances are of winning a majority of seats now in the 905.

So I’m looking to propose to my gf next weekend and I’m think NOTL old town would be a nice area to do it. Are there any spots that would be recommended? It doesn’t have to be fully private but at least somewhat, while we talk around the town. From pictures I’ve seen, it looks really nice with the Christmas lights and I hope it looks the same this year. Any spot recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!
Also, any good restaurants recommendations??
Just down hall from sportchek. Lots of unique gifts for holidays
This is a bit out of left field but figured I'd shoot my shot: I work on a paranormal TV show and we're looking for stories of people who have been haunted in the house they currently live in (either being haunted to this day or haunted in the past). I've heard Niagara is haunted and while it's easy enough to find the public spaces that are listed online, I'm hoping to talk to people who would be down to share their personal stories of being haunted while living in their homes. A few requirements we need to fulfill:
- you've had a variety of experiences that include actually seeing some kind of entity: shadow figure, a full manifestation, etc.
- there's someone else in your life who has also experienced paranormal happenings in your home who would be game to be on camera too
- available to film in January or February
Feel free to comment here or message me if you want to share your story or get more info.
May I have some recommendations re where to go to replace lost car keys please- other than a dealership?
