Newry nurse diagnosed with MS needs our support for life-changing treatment

This girl is the husband of a friend of mine. She's a local nurse, having worked in coronary care and end-of-life care.

She needs treatment urgently. Her husband (a paramedic) is ill too making caring for their wee ones especially hard. The NHS won't fund the treatment, so will Newry care for the ones who care for us?

Please help out if you can:

Newry capital funding in latest budget

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm2zvp5xmedo

Reeves said: "To support growth, including in our rural areas, we will proceed with City and Growth Deals in Northern Ireland - in Causeway Coast and Glens and the Mid South West."

City deals - also known as growth deals in more rural areas - are regeneration funding packages worth more than £1.5bn, with about £600m coming from central government.

There are four deals in Northern Ireland:

Newry City Centre Regeneration (£40m) and the Southern Relief Road (£93.4m) are both contained within the Belfast City region deal.

Newry to Belfast travel

Hi All, I've recently moved back to Newry from Belfast, been there since my unidays.

I'm commuting for work, currently driving, but it's soul destroying sitting in the morning traffic. Would consider train...but translink being translink who knows when that will ever run properly again!

Considering the Rooney bus instead, anyone on here get it from newry? I see there's Mourne country and sheepbridge stops. What's the parking like at both?

Anything else I need to know?

I'd likely be getting the earliest (630) bus.
