Found this after my 107 year old great grandmother passed away this week, but my great grandfather had this hat for every Wurstfest, I want to say ever since the very first one, but at least for many many years up until we had to put him in a nursing home about 10 years ago right before he passed. Ive never had the opportunity to go to Wurstfest but now that I’ve grown and started to travel more, I plan on coming back next year. Hope this little blast from the past is cool to some of y’all.

I've been seeing these 2 crows/Ravens around and I thought it was odd because these types of birds usually aren't around here. Does anyone know why they're here or where they are rn?

Saw people lined up and camped out in front of the new Round Table Pizza location when going to Golds Gym at Marketplace this morning for a work out. Upon leaving I stopped and asked and they said 1st 100 customers get free pizza for a year! They open at 11am and there were maybe 40 - 50 people in line.

This is just what they told me, can anyone confirm? Anyone there camping out? Inquiring minds want to know....

Went this morning and there were only a handful of people coming and going at any given time. I was pleasantly surprised by the mixed demographic of individuals as well, not an uncomfortable experience at all and took ~10 minutes.

Flying in and out of San Antonio to attend a wedding in New Braunfels for one night. I will just need a ride/car to get to and from the venue and airport.

In my current state/city I live about the same distance between NB and our airport and we don’t think twice about ordering one. But my friend (who has never even lived in Texas) is telling me I HAVE to rent a car since it’s such an awkward distance from San Antonio/Austin. Are they correct and I’m just better off renting a car? Looking at prices between the two I just thought I could save like at least 100 bucks and som time on having to return a car and refill the tank.

It seems like every year. Less and less neighborhoods are decorating. I’m hoping this thread will help boost the amount of would be trick or treaters to your location.

Hey, to anyone out there who is even considering getting a dog.

We urgently need to find homes for 8 six-month old puppies, who's owner is unable to care for them. No shelters are able to take them and as you can guess, 8 puppies is too much to handle. The shelters are beginning to suggest euthanasia which we are trying to avoid at all costs, as they don't deserve that

They are mixed breed, but the father appears to be a lab. They would preferably go to a one dog household to give them the best life, but other options are welcome. Females are spayed but males have not been neutered.

I have 5 year old mattress that is in decent condition. It’s not as supportive as it’s ever been but it’s had a mattress protector on it the whole time. Was wondering if there’s any shelters or the like that will take it as a donation. Thanks.

Donna Campbell supports state intervention in women’s healthcare. Women have been refused ER care for pregnancy complications because doctors are afraid of prosecution by Ken Paxton for properly treating patients. Texas women have died and others have become infertile because of Campbell. It’s sad and she should be ashamed. Greg Abbott, Ted Cruz and Dan Patrick stand beside her in limiting healthcare for women.

She supports banning all forms of birth control. And she was the author of eliminating exceptions for rape and incest. Let that sink in.

I took my pooch for a walk at Fischer Park this morning. Despite the signs and the availability of poop bags, the amount of dog crap along the side of the trails is staggering. Don't be a complete loser--pick up your dog's poop so that other park visitors don't have to See it everywhere. Just takes a little effort and a little human decency. Rant over.
