Hi, first time watcher here! I just finished the show today and I loved it SO MUCH!! (As you can see from a previous appreciation post I’ve made)

But man, am I bummed at the weddings. I know that it’s a common thing in sitcoms for weddings to go wrong (for whatever reason), but UGH!!!

I can understand Nick and Jess’s wedding going wrong because I feel like that makes sense for their characters and relationship, but Schmidt and Cece’s too? Really?

I HIGHLY doubt Schmidt would have a spontaneous on the roof loft wedding, even though he loves Cece. Or at least they would do that wedding and Schmidt would plan another wedding to be perfect, because that’s what he wanted.

When Nick and Jess’s wedding went wrong I thought they would just go to elope with close family nearby or something, but getting married in a hospital? It just felt like a quick and cheap way to get out of doing something grand, which both Nick and Jess deserved.

Not even seeing Winston and Aly’s wedding makes me so upset, but I hope that it was perfect!

Sorry for the rant, I’m just annoyed that sitcoms do this constantly, and it’s not what these amazing couples deserved after fans had rooted for them for so long!!!

As for the proposals, I loved them. Schmidt and Cece’s made me cry because it was great!!!!

Just watched this episode and wondered why we didn't see this more. My opinion is Jess wouldn't have had enough money to cover all the times she was annoying. Thoughts?

Are we all in agreement that Nick and Winston both had a massive glowup between Season 5 and 6? Maybe it’s the beards? Idk but they’re both so hot lol

When arguing over the poker tab Nick says "I work at a bar where you drink for free!". Free drinks probably add up a LOT.

Today my boyfriend and I walked past a group of teenagers TPing a house for Halloween. I said “youths!!!” the way Schmidt said it and he burst out laughing. Repeating New Girl quotes unironically, if done correctly, will make you hilarious. Thanks, Schmidt :)

Hey guys, I was listening to the podcast while driving and catching up on episodes. I remember Hannah saying someone gave her an arm workout that I wanted to look into but now I can't remember the workout name or which episode it was. 😅 does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I have no one to talk about my borderline obsession with new girl. Everything makes me think of new girl at this point. I’m on rewatch 10 right now. My fav episode is probably s2ep19.

We all know Winnie the Bish tends to go way too big or way too small on his pranks.

But the opening scene of S3E6 - "Keaton", Winston freajs out Nick with two lines by leaning into the curse of Miss Beverly's apaartment.

When Cece is living in the loft during s5e3 “Jury Duty” she and Nick get into a fight over Schmidt because they’re both jealous of who is spending time with him most.

Cece says “In a way, you’re always going to know him better than I do. Except physically.”

And Nick straight up goes “You’d be surprised.”

??? This is the first time I’m rewatching and also on the NickxSchmidt ship and lol that could be taken a VERY specific way…

There are so many random quotes that leave my friends second guessing our relationships. The one in the title and "Are you the criminals, FROM THE STATISTICS?!" as well as "Do you like X?
