New Garden : A place for new gardeners and old to share what they know. The idea here is to grow some food so you can spend a little less time at the grocery store. It’s easy and fun and takes very little effort on your part. Put the seeds in the ground and watch them grow and nature will do the rest. Yes... It can be very easy or difficult... Some plants are down right hard to kill and others are tender and require more care.
Yes...Anybody can do this. Let’s get started.

Hello, I just started growing plants this spring. I found a nice blueberry plant that I potted and was excited to see grow.
Unfortunately, an unknown animal has decided that my blueberry plant was only worth destroying. It has avoided killing it, but only days after being planted was stripped of one of it's three stalks. I was worried about my plant, but it has been left alone and to my delight began to thrive in my care.
It seemed to grow quickly, and many leaves sprouted from the remaining stalks. Sadly, I stepped out to grab my mail today and the critter has bitten off the longest stalk once more, and even stripped another stalk of some layers.
I'm worried my blueberry bush simply won't survive the abuse; I would like to know the steps (if any exist) I can take to keep my plant safe without bringing it inside.
TL;DR
My blueberry plant is being slowly eaten by something and I would like advice.
