I have my issues with the Witcher show (a lot of them) but I was watching the series because I was bored and despite everything I still love the Witcher franchise in general. But there’s just a bunch of episodes missing from Netflix from each season. Why?? This is Netflix’s own show you can’t watch it anywhere else besides pirating it. It’s not like HBO Max where they are constantly giving the rights to their own content away.
does anyone else think s2 ep7 sounds tinny and quiet compared to the other episodes? just a few episodes ago i was impressed by the level of bass i was getting that i could feel through my headphones. using airpods max through apple tv
Who gave the best / your favorite acting performance in The Witcher?
I'm emigrating to Brokilone, who wants to join?
Does anyone have a link to a long YouTube video with the same vibe as the Witcher fireplace?
I absolutely love the ambience and background music of the Witcher fireplace, I’ll play it in the background for hours as I clean, write, read, etc. just get sick or pressing play every hour
How do I have to watch the Witcher series in order and which would that be
⚠️I don't think this contains any spoilers but just in case. Don't read if you haven't finished the series.⚠️
Hi , When the 3rd season came out I noticed something and I asked on Tiktok but the answers I got weren't really what I was asking for.
Have you noticed that Ciri's eyes are becoming more and more green? For me it was simply the symbol that her powers were evolving or that she was even changing, but others told me that it was simply the budget of the series that was changing.
Have you noticed it? Is this an accident? Does this have a link with the books (I'm on the third book). Am I crazy?
(ps: Sorry if my text is not clear, I speak French)
so i played witcher 3 wild hunt and it was completely fine for me gore wise. i’m wondering compared to that how gory the tv show is?
As I understand it, Fire magic takes life from the caster.
Yen's great fire, burned out all of hers and she survived.
Is that because her fate was now bound to Geralt's and that his had yet to play out?
Her time, extended by the Wish, her outcome, a warning not to meddle?
I’m trying to figure out if it’s Joey Batey or not and if not who voices it and of course Google is literally of opposite help, I can’t find any credits anywhere
So Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli did an AMAZING job with the season 1 ost. I absolutely love the use of antiquated sounding instruments (like, I think, hurdy gurdy?) with modern composition. The layering and variety of sounds and musical queues used in multiple songs and remixed... (I don't know music so I'm sure I'm not using the correct terms, forgive me.)
Anyway, despite avid searching, I haven't found ANYTHING else like it and I'm dying for more. Even the artists other albums don't have 'it'. There's a ton of "epic soundtracks" and classical covers of modern songs but nothing comes close to the almost narrative way the artist uses different sounds, melodies, and instruments in the season 1 OST.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Royce Pierreson (Istredd)was in a 2 second long stint in Thor: Dark World?
I know this is not significant at all but just thought it was interesting
I’ve just bought dvds of The Witcher seasons 1-3 for a relative who doesn’t have access to Netflix and tell me why the “official” dvds I bought from amazing look like shitty ai art?? Surprisingly Yen looks semi-decent but Ciri and (especially) Geralt?? Not only is he Liam Hemsworth (as of making this post we have one official image of him as Geralt and it’s NOT this one) but his face looks like a literal drawing.
I just finished watching the show (I’ve never played the games or read the books, it just looked interesting on Netflix lol), and I can’t wrap my head around Francesca the Elven queen. She was such a head strong resilient leader but at the same time I feel like she was easily swayed? Whoever came to her with a new plan or new orders I felt like she just took it after little thought. I thought maybe it was desperation for finding her people a home and going through constant struggles and fighting but I’m still not sure how good of a leader she was. I apologize if I got anything wrong I’m still processing everything that’s happened in season 3😭

Hi, i have a simple question… Is Gerald of Riva shaving his intimate area
Just read the unfortunate news, wondering if there's a reason given for such a thing? Hopefully ensuring visual quality and source fidelity, but we'll see
Ok. So I recently got back into watching. I saw something odd in this episode... At about 14 min 20sec Ciri's grandmother has a funky eye movement. Just a second after Ciri says "yes, I'm sorry I'm late" I'm watching on Netflix so it's not a pirated copy. Has anyone else noticed this. It's my first time in this sub also
S2E7 Geralt was with Yen at DM's hut. He was about to attack DM and try to kill her. Coincidentally (?) that is exactly when Emhyr's assassin kills Francesca's baby, causing massive pain, giving DM a huge shot of power, just when she needed it. Her spirit had enough power to immediately break out of the hut to go find Ciri. DM obviously was very powerful and probably had the power of foresight. But, I think DM must have had some sort of psychic connection to Emhyr to get him to release the assassin at just the right time.
