And i ask myself, how the hell people let a game die like this.

I'm thinking about buying Naruto Ninja Storm 4 on Steam, but I don't know if it will have a large player base online. How is the game doing in that regard?

For context this is my build. I'm connected via ethernet, my ps4 controller is plugged in steam input off. My router uses openwrt which has a packet priority algorithm that prioritizes gaming packets, my connection is a 500 mb down and 70 upload. Ping when tested is under 7, my buffer bloat is A+. I'm using cloudflare DNS. When I play high level players my inputs just get buried, I've been playing storm for years and since connections came out which requires you to be more fundamentally sound this issue has just been frustrating me. How is it that a simple chakra dash cancel I can do in my sleep offline but when I'm online it's the hardest move in the world to do. Why do players with the better connection inputs gets buried and it baffles me that CC2 just ignored the freely available rollback net code. What are these high level players doing on PC so that my inputs get buried online.

Just got the game and I'm wondering how people get those fully animated cutscene like finishers where all 3 characters work together. i was in a free battle with naruto sasuke and sakura and got the yellow bar to fill up and then did Y Y Y B to do the team move but it was the exact same as everyone elses with the "team 1/2/3" text. am i doing something wrong?

Didn’t play it for months, didn’t buy any dlcs, already uninstalled it because there were no players online (on Xbox). But since I love the storm series I always wanted the best for the series.

How is the game doing? Will there be a season 2? Any chances for crossplay?

So I used to be pretty good at this game back on the 360. Just picked up Storm Generations and I’m trying to get good again as soon as possible. Is there any YouTubers you guys recommend to watch? Or even twitch streamers. Lmk

I used to play Storm 4 a lot and I know that Connections came out a year ago, I'm undecided about buying the game because there are few people playing it. My question is, do you find people online easily?

Anyone else think in NS connections that the enemy ai runs away way to much? I'm try to S rank the Naruto vs neji fight and he is Constantly using chakra back dash.... It's super annoying and also not like neji s character at all! Neji is a close range fighter he wouldn't be constantly running away! 😫

It's been a year since the launch, and I can confirm that this was my biggest disappointment.

I was supposed to have more than 500 hours, but if I had 30 it was too much, I abandoned it after just a few months and I think it's hard to find updates that will make people who gave up come back.

It's funny how Mortal Kombat 1 is already doing the same, where the older one has more people playing online.

Been watching naruto since 2014, and I've been loving it since finishing it in 2019. For some reason I never considered playing the ninja storm games, but they popped up on YouTube the other day and I just thought, "why not??".

Flash foward 5 hours and I'm a bit too obsessed with this game. I'm still very trash but just playing through story mode has brought back so much of the emotions I loved from watching naruto for the first time.

I'm partly angry at myself for waiting this long to play it, but I'm still very glad that I'm getting to experience it now. I'm currently playing 4 cause it seemed like it had the best general game play from what i could deduce from reviews, but I'm very likely to get the trilogy as well for the story modes.

What do you guys think of switch tech. I never committed to learning it because it seemed “cheap” in my opinion. I don’t like the idea that i’m essentially breaking the game or glitching the game in order to get a win. It just doesn’t suit my personal play style. And i don’t like how it looks visually. I felt like the storm games did a good job of setting up ninja type battles. And switch tech takes away from that.I don’t have anything against people who use it. It can actually be a good judge of how good someone is at the game. Once i see that i know this person isn’t about to leave any openings or time to breathe. But I feel like its affected the game as a whole. It seem like everyone just want to pick the “best” characters. I feel like its become all about who has the most exploits within their move set. And people will pick a character they don’t like over their favorite for infinite combos. Is it really just about winning for that many people? Am i the only one who likes drawn out matches between someone who’s just as bad at the game as you are??

Context: I’m currently trying to platinum storm 4 on ps5. now I could just suck ass at the game but I’m doing the six paths Naruto and sasuke vs madara fight (the one after both might guy fights). this fight is giving me some troubles because in his final stage he gets this annoying beam attack along with his limbo border jail which is already annoying to deal with. But that beam attack does almost half my health and half the time he burns through my substitutions thanks to his constant annoying dodges along with his own seemingly bottomless substitution. But does anyone have some tips to help me S rank the fight I’m about to throw my controller at my wall over this.

I had the physical copy of Connections for the Switch but then gave it to a friend. Now I decided to download it from the eShop but now my previous save file did not carry over to my digital version of the game. My digital and physical copies were from different regions so maybe that is the reason?
