My group usually books early - like before the hotel blocks are even announced / released - but it means we’re typically a bit of a further walk away. Did anyone book for Friday and Saturday ? If so, what was the pricing?
Hi! I am planning a big trip to America this October and it happens to coincide with NYCC. How hard is it to purchase tickets? I know SDCC has the lottery system. Do I have to camp the site upon release or not that stressful?
Also which day is the best to go? My main priority are the artist alley and exclusives. Panels would be good but not as high of a priority.
Thanks
Hello! So, I have a teenage girl who will be going to the New York Comic Con this fall, and I have a few questions for anyone who can answer.
1– Is the comic con safe?
2– Are there normally any Percy Jackson panels or events? She loves Percy Jackson and is hoping to see some of that content.
3– When are the best days to go?
Hi all, im in contact with NYCC about reserving a booth, they finally contacted me back regarding my application. They asked some follow-up questions about my business, I make character wigs and costumes from scratch. Just wondering if there are experienced vendors here who have had booths and can offer insight to the process? My business is very small and only became popular in the last two months, so hoping that they don’t hold my low social media following over my head (they asked about follower count). Also: They asked what booth size I want and I have no idea how to answer that question.
I am going as Casey Jones from TMNT and I want to bring in a hockey stick, baseball bat, and golf club replicas etc. Where is the best place to get stuff like that in NY or make by myself.
I bought two figures at Comic-Con in October. In December, l asked when my order would be shipped, and they told me it would go out at the beginning of the month.
Today, I emailed them about a refund since it's been three months and I spent $70. They refunded me, but only as store credit. Even though they said I'd get my money back on my card if I didn't receive the figures by the end of December, they didn't follow through. Oh well lesson learned not to waste money on them.
What was the name of the booth selling the light up demon slayer swords on the right side of the convention main floor? I lost their business card
Hi everyone,
My friend and I (Europeans) are thrilled to be attending NYCC this year! We've got our flights and hotel arranged, but have some questions regarding the convention tickets:
Thank you in advance and who knows, maybe till NYCC!
I know NYCC isn't until October but I already know who I want to be and found most of the supplies I need to make the cosplay! It's gonna be hell waiting until summer when I get tickets to buy this stuff.
Is it too early to start thinking about and assembling cosplay? When do you guys usually begin??
So I’m looking into going to NYCC with 3 other friends, I wanted to experience the con in the best way and wanted to do a 4 day pass for us all. Problem I’m seeing is that I didn’t know about the Fan Verified closed already, so those 4 day passes are more than likely a no go.
I saw that popverse Superfan allows for guaranteed first access to tickets to NYCC for $99, which I’m more than happy to pay to make sure me and my friends all get to enjoy 4 days. Issue I’m having is, since I didn’t get to be fan verified, does that mean that even I pay the $99, I still won’t be able to buy the tickets early? And even then, would I be able to even buy that many passes for us?
Any help is greatly appreciated. It’s always been a long time dream to go to comic con, and being able to spend it with my friends would make that memory worth it all.
Hi! I have wanted to go to comic con for a few years now, and im curious on how everything works. i want to know if theres any restrictions for cosplay, how autographs and selfies, and when guests r announced. i know when tickets generally go on sale, however im new to conventions and i dont want to look like a complete idiot. i like danganronpa, death note, demon slayer, marvel, star wars, and the promised neverland. what kind of cosplay would be safe for a 16 y/o, also?
So I'm currently working on a large cosplay and will likely need a handler with me. I woman. 4 day ticket but we all know how stupidly hard it is to get satirday tickets. What's the policy on handler cuz I can't find any info online about it. Can they just come with with a special badge or am I kinda screwed that day
Hello all, it's seems a bit difficult to get for the first time some tickets for the nycc. Just let me get it straight and correct me if I'm wrong. :
Do I got everything right?
My wife and I will come for the first time in NY from Paris France and we would gladly accept any insights. Thx guys. And ready to meet irl anybody between 9 an 13th october
My wife and I were looking to attend. However, the website says October 9-12th but when I look at the panels they are the 17th-20th. When actually is it? What am I not seeing?
Additionally, it says the four day passes are sold out, are there any future sales/opportunities? Or that’s just it?
Is the fan verification for NYCC 2025 over?
Hello all!
A couple friends and I are interested in attending the 2025 NYCC. Only problem is we don’t know how or when to get passes. Can anyone walk me through the process? Any advice is appreciated!
Hi all,
I'm thinking about going to NYC this year and just had some questions. I'd be going solo, so I mainly want to know about events/spaces where I could meet and talk to other people. I'd love to make some friends, maybe attend some room parties if that's possible. Are there any apps used to connect? Are people open to conversations or do they mostly keep to themselves? Any info would be greatly appreciated, please be kind, I'm new to this! Thanks!
Hi you guys, I’m trying to attend NYC comic con but it’s gonna be my first time in New York so I’m a bit nervous about travel. Most cons I’ve been to have hotel blocks that open on a specific day and time but I can’t seen to find any information on that.
I also usually try to find the host hotels that are the closest to the convention since I won’t have a car with me. Could anyone give me some advice on travel? Thanks!
This will be my second NYCC and I’m debating whether to apply for Pro (I work in Special Effects) or Content Creator (book blogging). What are the differences with these 2 badges? Do they have the same perks?
I see a lot of independents having a small table on the main floor and I wanted to know what was your total cost to do this? I attend the cons and I know someone who wants to display and promote their stuff but I wanted to get an idea of the budget and the actualy cost it took to have that.
Okay, so there’s a booth that I went to on Saturday that sells bootleg movies and shows and I’m trying to remember what it was called.
There was a vendor in 2024 that sold these shrek 'beware ogre' pins. I bought one and it feel off my backpack today and I'd love to buy another if I can't find it. Anyone know this seller?
Hi all, I found out after leaving NY Comic-Con that my son wanted this shirt. I cannot for the life of me figure out the vendor. I’ve see several variations of this shirt online, but would like this one. Anyone know who makes it? Thanks.
I'm planning on applying for the first time this year (I'm an SLP who works in NYC Public Schools for special needs students). Can anyone tell me what the application process is like? I'm trying to prepare for how I present this to my principal. Thanks in advance!
