I couldn’t find a subreddit related to the NSU band so I was wondering if someone, preferably in the band, knows of an oboe player who sells reeds or would be willing to do private lessons teaching oboe
Hey, everyone! I am a engineering grad from a Pakistani university with a 2.99 CGPA on a 4.0 scale. I was thinking about applying for this program and I was hoping if anyone on this subreddit could shed some light upon whether it could be a suitable fit for someone like me to apply to, and if it is STEM-designated. I would appreicate any information anyone here could provide in this regard. Thank you so much!

Hey to anyone who is a nicholls student and struggling to find friends. And sorry for this kind of depressing post. Just wondering if anyone is struggling this year with loneliness. It seems impossible to make friends.
I'm an international student and I'm hoping to start my ug at NSU next fall. I'm having a really hard time trying to find what clothes to take. Can anyone tell me what kinda clothing I need to pack for every season in Thibodaux, LA? Thanks!

Hey everybody!
I work with a small startup at MIT, focused on intercity mobility called Loop: https://www.loop-ridesharing.com
We’re attempting to reimagine the future of post-CoVID transportation between American cities, creating safe spaces for students to rideshare between college campuses and home. We will be releasing beta tests in the coming weeks. If you have a student email address, own a driver's license, and are interested in sharing your ride for a bit of cash in return, sign up for our beta testing here:

Hello and good evening Colonel Family. I, the Clunemeister, have arrived at r/NSU and am happy to announce that COVID will never destroy our spirit. Geaux Colonels!

Hello fellow Redditors I'm a freshman here and I am looking to purchase a COVID hazmat suit for my classes. If anyone has a leftover one from a previous class, please let me know
Just asking out of curiosity because it's the only thing aside from the apartments that I haven't seen while touring. I really don't like how Ellender Hall looks
Hey everyone. I was recently asked to put together a quick guide for the /r/cfb Nicholls wiki, to be found here.
Just some quick background on me before I jump in- I attended Nicholls over 15 years ago, and even though I live in Houma, I'm pretty far removed from NSU football these days. If anyone wants to shoot some information my way, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
What info do you think I should include? So far I plan on mentioning the John Folse Culinary Institute and the Manning Passing Academy. Who are some notable past players, other than the recent Webb? If visitors are coming into town, what are some must-visit local places, tourist hotspots, etc.?
If you have the time, take a look at the quick work I've put into the wiki so far, and let me know if anything should be adjusted, added or just plan removed. I would appreciate it!
Is there any real way to game in the dorms? I'm in Scholars Hall and the connection is pretty good. However, when try to connect to say, a Minecraft server, it disconnects. Are gaming ports locked on the connection? Will the Nicholls IT/Network admin willing to work with me on this if I ask about it?
I've got a ton of books I've been hanging on to and have now decided to get rid of them. I'll be really fair on prices (some you may get for free if you want), just PM for details. Most are older editions for some classes, but they are still useful. Here is the list:
Algebra and Trigonometry, Sullivan, 8th ed
Social Psychology, David G. Myers, 9th Edition
Experiments in Biochemistry: A Hands on Approach, Farrell and Taylor, 2nd edition
Public Speaking for College and Career, Hamilton Gregory, 8th edition
Western Civilization: A Brief History to 1715 by Jackson Spelvogel, 4th edition
Foundations in Microbiology, Kathleen and Talaro, 4th edition
The Little, Brown Handbook 9th edition
The Allyn and Bacon Guide to Writing, 4th (Brief) edition*
Prebles' Artforms: An Introduction to the Visual Arts by Patrick Frank, 8th edition
The Curious Writer (Brief edition) 3rd edition, Ballenger
Psychology: Fields of Application, Stec and Douglas
Traditions and Encounters : A Brief Global History, Volume II: from 1500 present
World History Volume I: To 1800, 5th edition, by Jackson Spielvogel, 5th edition
I also have older versions of the Microbiology and Biology 155/156 Lab manual that aren't very different from the ones used now, as well as a new and unused lab notebook.
Hey, just looking to see if anyone still exists on this subreddit. If you're into cycling, PC gaming, table top games, or just wanna chill, hit me up once the semester starts.
