I've found a handful of ceratopsian creatures on my journey, and for some reason they all had ill-proportioned, very small heads on their very bulky bodies. I remember reading something on the sidelines of updates about HG making adjustments to head sizes? Were they bugged out or something, is this ratio on purpose? Or are there normal-proportioned ceratopsians out there? I'm so curious about this.
The Fauna Hall of Fame is a time-honored No Man's Sky institution dating back to r/NMS_Zoology, but later moved to the Gamepedia Wiki. As the community moves away from using Fandom (which acquired, and ruined, Gamepedia), I decided to relocate the Hall of Fame to Miraheze.
If you belong to a civilization, you can also represent that in your entries using the provided format. But solo travelers should register their finds too! Good journeys interlopers!
Is there a way to make a zoo base displaying your captured companions like to make some stay at base in cages to display them I love the animals and am making a base I called zoo of the damned and am wondering if I could actually make it display companions in cages or something haven't played in two years or something so can't remember if there was or anything thanks!
Hello! I’m looking for a rideable dragon companion however I do not want to mod the game, is there anyone that is willing to gift an extra egg they have laying around? I’m on steam, thank you!
I just thought this meeting of similar-yet-different species was cool lol
So basically, I found a moth-like creature on a planet and i want to essentially create Mothra, I got an egg and used the gene sequencer to increase the size of the creature(or so I thought), today i hatched the egg, and the offspring is the exact same size of the parent, is it even possible to increase the size of these types of companions or do i just need to keep breeding and modifying the egg?
Recently, I found a really fantastic tyrannocae, with a feather mane, feathered tails, and feathered arms. The coloring and body parts are all solid, though I’d like to try and swap out the head. It currently has the crocodilian style head and I’d like to give it the raptor/Skeksis one.
Has any in-game geneticist messed around with the sequencer enough to have some suggestions as to how to proceed? Is it purely random or are set materials tied to specific body parts? I’ve only ever messed around with coloration, size, and temperament.
They were to cute to not feed a herd of these guys on a hillside that was baren.
Most notable thing about them was their age was "Immortal" there was also a ton of them all over the place.
I was digging through some old Steam screen shots and found this one. I know it was prior to the Worlds update but since it's a Steam screen shot and not a camera capture I don't have portal coordinates. I don't see it in my Wonders catalog and I must not have adopted it. Has anyone else come across this type of fauna, a liquid filled orb that is bleeding/leaking?
