A place for people playing No Man's Sky in Permadeath mode to share tips, information and resources. Both those just here for the achievement and those planning to stay.

Hello everyone, i'm in a search for cadmium, emeril and indium permadeath farms. Help please.
Started playing Permadeath today, was wondering if anyone could taxi me to a certain system so I can get a specific orb ship I like so i don't waste materials on other ships.
Title pretty much says it all. I've seen a lot of people talking about how they tweaked a bunch of settings and they still got it, but I haven't seen anyone that specifically tested it with this one.
Can someone please confirm whether you actually get the achievement or not with the tutorial disabled?
EDIT: For anyone else wondering, yes, you get the achievement even with the tutorial off.
I was wondering, are glitches an often occurence? I have 100 hours in the game and haven't ever encountered "death" glitches, but I see plenty of people saying they won't start perma death because of them in the main sub
Also, what are the main diferences between normal and permadeath? What should I do or avoid doing?
Hello. I am close to finish the main storyline of my blindrun in normal mode and tbh I have never died once and felt the game was too easy. I wanted to find people to start a new save and start together on the same solar system and planet and basically populate it with constructions and stuff. Anyone interested?
So I have a roadmap when I start a new permadeath run. Tested it today for time.
First thing, farm mats for warp cell. Once I have about 2-3, I immediately start looking for an outlaw / dissonance system. This is so I can farm echo locators from my ship and not have to worry about sentinels coming.
Once I have the first echo locator, I am pretty much golden in regards to money / nanites. I just scrap a few sentinel ships for millions, buy upgrades from the outlaw system and sell for loads of nanites at space stations. I was able to do this in about 3 hrs play time. I usually stick around the same planet until I get an S class then start upgrading.
Anyone mind sharing their beginning goals when you start a new run?
How many hours is your PD file, I am looking to unlock everything 100% on PD, build bases everywhere ect. So is this possible or will I die and should I just do it on survival?
More construction is happening in the Galhub's official permadeath colony. Uncharted star systems don't just chart themselves! Here is a massive gold mining complex being built by colonist Wicked Winds. Come join our colony if you want to be a part of the expansion!
After four attempts I've made it to my first pd base, now to the stars!
I should also point out that I'm terrible at survival games, but this game is like my modern Freelancer and I love it. Also I'm a big fan of D2 hardcore, so why not.
I had (still do) a lot of fun in creative, but this is way for me to play. What a game.

Basically, find a Merchants Guild desk and see what to donate to get the free Warp Hypercore. The Envoy seems to always want Salvaged Data and some kind of contraband (Prismatic Feathers or Moon Ether or whatever), so adding 8 standing to get to Apprentice level is just a few warps and a little smuggling.
Before the Orbital Update, after contacting the Anomaly I would get the Economy Scanner and do a bit of piracy but keeping the Hyperdrive fueled was always a pain.
What approach to you take in the early game?

This base encompasses a pilgrimage site, Circuit Board farm, Nitrogen Salt lab and Paraffinium well. As the third base I've built in that system, it forms part of a Quantum Processor production system. I'm planning to add a couple more bases to make it a Fusion Ignitor system.
Since it's in Euclid's Canthian region, this is part of the Galactic Hub's Genesis Colony. Visiting here and settling nearby is a quick route to becoming a Galhub citizen.

Tour of the base visible here, where you can also find details of the other bases.
It looks fun from above!
