Maybe this is an easy one that I just can’t figure out, but can my son and I play NHL PS4 together / against each other on the same console? Thoughts?
I just bought NHL 19 for my PS4, and I'm just wondering how big the updates are altogether? I haven't done any update yet, and I'm kinda scared to since my hard drive is running low on space
How i can see that how many games some of my players have play in franchise mode?
Hello everyone. I am a LW sniper looking for a club, I know how to cycle and score. I would prefer a club that knows how to cycle well. I am on NHL all the time. My current club only plays at nights, that works or I am also available during the day. I play on PS4, if you are interested let me know!
Does any one still play im trying to get trophies before the server is taken down
You know when you are zoomed in on the opening faceoffs or centre ice faceoffs, and right before the puck is about to drop, it zooms out, completely messing up your timing?
I especially hate this when you are zoomed in, waiting for the ref's arm to move, then it pans out and you move your joystick because of the sudden movement you have been waiting for only to be cock blocked and the ref drop the puck right after you make the mistake?
Does anyone else despise this shit?
I just opened up NHL 15 and saw there was a game play update notification. Does anyone know what changes have been made? Or does anyone know the link where update information is posted?
Just picked up my copy of NHL15 for the PS4 last night. So far my impression is they spent a lot of time on the gameplay mechanics and nothing else. I find I'm having more energetic [and random] scrambles for the puck and when you dive for the puck it doesn't go right through your stick like previous games. The commentary at times seems a bit smarter than previous games too.
On the other hand I think everything else around the on ice action was done very quickly. In "be a pro" mode there is no coach feedback, and there have been a few times when I hit O to get back on the ice it does nothing for minutes!!! The menu system is disorganized and hard to follow and they broke up many of the original lists of items into many smaller submenus.
The video intro to the games is boring and repetitive (and just inappropriate for Canadian fans). They boast about the crowd but in the crowd there are
Also while the graphics are improved they're still a bit off
It's almost like NHL15 is a tech demo and the "real" PS4 game is still to come. It's fun but it's hardly polished and they're betraying people by charging $70 for it.
Just like the title suggests. Open discussion about the NHL Demo game play or anything else you would like to discuss.
I have played NHL 12 and NHL 13, having spent most of my time on NHL 13 on GM Mode.
Two things that I have noticed different about NHL 15 Demo are that checking people is now a little harder, and protect the puck is back and is effective again. I understand that if Martin St. Louis tries to check anyone but Patrick Kane he's just going to bounce off. But I feel that with any big Defence man they have a hard time trying to hit anyone when they are coming up the boards whereas in NHL 13 you could pretty much level anyone. I think this is great, but I feel the body checking is a little more difficult in the demo whether you're trying to check a guy coming into your defensive zone or even trying to body check someone when they are behind the net.
I think that a lot of the graphics and animations are really cool, my guy was protecting the puck, got tripped, and went down which looked really awesome haha.
TLDR; Body checking is more difficult than the other versions (do you think this is good or bad?), what are your impressions on any aspect of the game?
Edit: Shoot I really wanted to mention that the big open ice hits look AMAZING. Everytime my guy levels another and they both leave their feet I yell "WOOOO". Gets me going!
Anyone else notice the refs don't really signal goals (like real ones) after you score they just seem to saunter off to centre ice. Also during fights the linesmen seem to stumble around and bump into shit all the time. The game plays well (certainly better than NHL14) but it seems to me the AI for the refs could use some work.
Also while I'm posting ... does anyone else notice there are no children in the crowd? Over 9000! models and no children?
I downloaded the NHL 15 demo and it is lagging and stuttering. How do I fix this i've tried re-downloading it but it did nothing?
Anyone know ? Want to get it downloaded as soon as I can.
Topic title, wondering if I should pick it up. I'd like to get into it
