Hi, How can I install .blz games on Nokia N-Gage. I have installed the blzinstapp on the console but I don't know in which directory blz files shoud be.
Hey all!
I'm looking for the guide Pirate's Hack for Pocket Kingdom. I already try to find it on wayback machine but all link are dead. I use to have it (.pdf) 5 years ago but don't find it on my computer qnymore.
Does someone could help?
Thks.
I took out the battery and the battery was pregnant thankfully I don't have the charger and if I charge it it will go boom 😅😅
I'm thinking of buying one to use as my phone and I'm wondering if it is usable still to call and stuff
Hey everyone. I’d been looking at buying Asphalt 2, as I have Asphalt 1. The only examples I can find on eBay with a quick search are 2 sealed examples at around £200+?
Something I’ve always been curious about is if people played on N-Gage Arena back in the day, and what are the most fond memories you have with the service? :)
Hey all, I bought a QD from marketplace - it was £40, in really good condition. The caveat was that it doesn’t charge, but if you put a charged battery in - it turns on fine. The phone itself has Japanese on the buttons? Is it Japanese, and I’d need a different power lead?
Hi I’m looking into getting an N-Gage, but I’m unsure of the best version to buy. I have a local seller who’s asking 150 € for the original model, with a new battery, charger, dummy SIM and a 128mb MMC. Or I could get a 66 € refurbished one from China and just find the MMC somewhere. Does it make sense to pay that much more for the original model?
So I've read a few guides and watched a few videos and I must be doing something wrong. I have an NGAGE, an MMC, an adapter to plug the MMC into my PC, and a bunch of games already. The games are all in folders but they are not .sis or .blz files as I sometimes see mentioned. They are folders/subfolders with all the data files like .app
First thing I did was put the MMC in the Ngage and formatted it. Then I tried putting the game folders in the root directory, as well as in System>Apps, but they do not appear in the apps or app manager of the phone. I did successfully install the .sis for FExplorer, which allows me to enter the file directory. I navigate to E: System>Apps where I can confirm all the games are, but all I can do here is open the files and I can see all the raw game data.
But how do I actually install/launch/execute a game?
For example, I open Shadowkey, inside is a file called 6R51, and inside that are hundreds of files.
Hello! I’m working on an art project, and I am struggling to find any original or reproduction of the menu application icons of the NGage, or any Nokia devices.
Im talking the pixel art images used for your applications. I know several archives have saved these for other devices such as old windows icons and old apple icons, and I know in theory these image files can be found within the codes of these devices, I just have no means to do this myself.
If anyone knows of an archive or some place that has provided these image files, I would appreciate it.
Just for further clarification, I’m specifically looking for the menu of the NGage QD, recognizably including the “Test” option with an insect/bug icon. I need the original/high quality images from this device.
Hey guys, installed Games in the “System > Apps” directory.. some have the game name, such as “TOMBRAIDER” and others have “6r53” etc - can I rename the folder to reflect the game it actually is, without any issues? (Just for ease)
I'm specifically looking for save data for Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep.
Does anyone know the specific folders or how to identify them? I've been looking around on the discord and google and apparently save data should be located in data/drives/c/Private/
. For example, some save data should be located in data/drives/c/Private/20007b39
, where the "20007b39" denotes... something. But I've found what appears to be save data in other directories such as data/drives/e/Private/a0000bf6
, which contains a bunch of .sav files called "profile01.sav", "profile02.sav" - I have no clue which game(s) these files relate to.
If you look at data/drives/c/Private/20007b39/2000afbc
you'll find a couple of ".dat" files called "savegame_p0_s0.dat" and "savegame_p0_main.dat", but I can't find any information about what game these files relate to. The specific folder data/drives/c/Private/20007b39/
also contains many sub-folders with in-game icons from various different games (Reset Generation, Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep, Bounce: Boing Voyage, etc).
I'm also curious where the save data for K-Rally can be found, which is not a N-Gage game but a simple Symbian .sis game - in case anyone knows.
Hey Guys, I know it’s 2024. However, is there anywhere at all to get a replacement rubber surround from, or a modern day replacement? Please let me know what you all have done with the cracked rubber
Hi,
Because Ashen doesn’t play audio on Bluetooth headphones (unlike Ghost Recon, which worked), I had to use the wired headphones from the QD package. I tested it on 2 of my QDs and both had this annoying constant background noise. It’s like the radio noise when you are between 2 channels and don’t get audio, just noises. Is this background noise normal? Or is the audio part on the motherboard possibly damaged?
