Sorry if this is off topic for this sub, just looking to see if anyone gone to this show the last few years?
I've thought about going in the past but the door charge has always been a bit of a deterrent but, with it being 4 days long and one charge getting you access for the whole weekend I was thinking of checking it out this year.
I’m in the process of getting my CCW in Maryland, and I understand the process can take up to 90 days to get approved. I return to Florida in August so I am assuming I will not be approved and allowed in time to purchase my gun before returning to Florida. My question is, with a Maryland CCW, can I purchase a firearm and have it shipped to a Florida dealer, and be able to pick it up?
Hey all, coming up on a move to Nebraska from Missouri. I have my MO CCW, a G19 and a handful of shotguns and rifles. No NFA items. Anything I can’t bring or anything I need to know to be a responsible Nebraskan gun owner?
I was wondering this because of how there can be encounters with bears and mountain lions and they rarely attack, especially a group of peope. But in the case that they do attack, how do you defend yourself? Bear spray doesn't always work, and if you don't have a gun then you're pretty much SOL because a knife isn't going to help much.

What is the best training near Lincoln? Quality and price?
Anyone know how long it's taking the sheriff dept to approve handgun permits in omaha right now?
Watching YouTube the last couple days, they targeted some (5.11 Tac) ads my way in regards to Concealed Carry. I'm sure most of you know all of these tips, but I'm going to share anyway as a reminder to some, and as new information to some others. The videos are both about 2:XX min long, so not too bad/boring.
Happy Friday, y'all, and have a great weekend!
Does anyone carry a truck gun or bag gun on a regular basis? I just finished a 8in 300blk pistol build stuffed into a vertx commuter 2.0.
While I have been a longtime firearm owner, I am relatively new to CCW and am in the process of getting my CHP. I am "hitting the books" regarding some of the nuances of CCW and NE CCW law.
In reading some of the discussion surrounding the shooting of James Scurlock in Omaha, there is some controversy about Jake Gardner having a non-current CHP. There was a comment made that if he was in his home or business that the CHP was not required to CCW. This is not something that I am aware of, and come here for clarification.
Not looking for discussion of the incident itself or any politics surrounding it, just clarification of the requirement of the CHP. Thanks!
I made this a rule, but it's more so informative and I want to make a post about it so everyone knows.
- Regular Flairs: I have a blank flair with a space placeholder for anyone who joins to put their city/town, EDC firearm type, or both. Please limit flairs to only these three options, and never put any delicate or personal information, like a phone number or address, on your flair.
- Specialty Flairs: There are flairs available for verified members. I have flairs for Military, First Responders, Certified CCW instructor, etc. I can also create/edit them as needed. If you would like to display a verifiable profession, please message me or the mods on this sub to get information on how to come about obtaining one.
Hope everyone has had a great (short for some?) week!
I'm pleasantly surprised that we reached 38 members in the 4 days we've been established- thank you all for your interest and support!
I just want to give a little update, beings we're not too far from 50 members.
If anyone is interested, and obviously comfortable- after COVID settles down, and things go back to "normal", I would love to have some type of event, be it a trap or regular range day, meet and greet, etc. This depends solely on you all and your interest.
If you are new here, please feel free to introduce yourself, create a post, ask questions, etc.
If you know people that use Reddit who also carry, or want to start carrying, it's implored to invite them to join up!
I will probably also create this sub/"community" on other social media platforms.
I would also love everyone's feedback, suggestions, comments, etc. This is a new concept to me, but I'm very excited to see this all grow and develop!
Thank you all,
-B (MAKO)
Forgive me if this question seems ignorant. I might not have read the state statutes fully. However, my father and I both have a Hornady RapID Vehicle safe in our cars. We were wanting to know if we're allowed to carry our loaded CCW firearms in it once we have our permit. If not, where should we store the mag and whatnot in case SHTF?
If you're new here, post a hello message here!
