Best case scenario imo
Keon Ellis is 6'3... granted he is crouching down but even at full height he'll be right under the spurs logo 😂
I’m conflicted, I’ll be in San Antonio Dec 5-9 and was going to watch the Kings and Pels games. However, I’m from Boise and a die hard football fan. They play in the conference title game to make the CFB playoffs the exact same time as the Spurs game on the 6th!
With that said, I think I’ll try to watch both games at a bar and maybe try to get better seats for the Pelicans game on the 8th. This is going to be my first experience and home game in San Antonio. Any feedback or tips would be much appreciated!
Our bench out scored Kings 45-22.
I don’t know if any of our starters get regulated to bench when Sochan comes back (takes castles spot? Barnes?) fully healthy we should have a bench with Vassell KJ Castle/Barnes Tre (that injury looked bad tho…) and a bunch of other guys who can contribute in meaningful ways if they have to get out there Blake/Mamuk (energy) Branham (can get hot sometimes) Collins (big man with touch on offense) bassey (size and aggressiveness)
34 pts 13 rebounds and 11 assists
Very efficient game
12-17, 5 of 9 from 3s....
I love that he is not forcing his shots today and great combination of 3pts and 2 pt shot

Tre just left the game with what looked like a dislocated shoulder (nothing official confirmed yet though) after drawing the illegal screen offensive foul TO on Sabonis. Hopefully that's all it is and he heals up soon.
Just wanted to give him a shout out for being the catalyst we needed to come back tonight.
His inverse PnR 2 man game with Wemby is awesome (he sets great screens for being a little) and his penetration kick out passes are right into the shooters rythem.
He was doing all the little things and locking up Fox full court. His end of Q3 hustle strip steal and ensuing backcourt foul bait to get 2 FTs despite us having 2 seconds left in the quarter were a perfect encapsulation of his impact on both ends tonight.

Not a spurs fan but just curious, watching the kings vs spurs right now (I’m a kings fan) and I’m so confused why keldon johnson doesn’t start? He’s really good and I’ve always thought so. Can any spurs fans explain this for me?
wemby has more points on less shots and free throws and yet sabonis is about 20pts higher on the offensive rating

When is our easiest month, it seems like we’ve had almost only western conference matchups so far and being that we are holding our own I assume we are gonna have an even easier stretch of games coming at some point.
It was the first one of the Spurs history (the same as the Dallas Chaparrals). We used it as kit for the first pre-season and the season was with the black & white jerseys
Hopefully we can continue playing at this level for December as well (last year December we went 2-12 😭)
The Spurs say they are trying to be laser-focused on defense this year, building a strong identity one player at a time, similar to their successful past.
Awesome to see man they have a lot of respect for him Long hair ginobili 😂
Manu tall at 30:00
I really hope he means Pop too.
What if the Spurs actually went out and made the trade for Giannis? It would be estimated to be a package of Sochan, Collins, Branham, Keldon & 4-5 firsts. Personally while losing Sochan would hurt, I think a starting lineup of Castle, Vassell, Barnes, Giannis & Wemby would definitely be contenders especially with Chris Paul, Champagnie, and Wesley being such incredible bench pieces.
