I'm enjoying the hell out of these
Refreshing, drink it cold. 20 calories. Got it at OB Brewery in San Diego, CA. 3 NA beer options in total in this place.
Thought this was a good lite beer! What does everyone else think? Cheers!!
Just wondering if any of you all have experimented with things like xanthan gum, guar gum, microcrystalline cellulose, etc to thicken and improve the mouthfeel of NA IPAs. I love IPAs but always find myself reaching for an NA pilsner or something similar because, while the flavors are there all the IPAs I've tried (and I've tried many) just feel off to me because the viscosity doesn't align with what my brain is expecting from an IPA.
Anyway, thinking I may experiment with some thickening agents and just wondering if any of you have already tried something like this.
October 2nd is National NA Beer Day! Enjoy a cold one today to help kick off the start of Sober October
Just a PSA: Got an email from Athletic this AM. Dark & Gourdy is out :) I've been looking forward to this for months.
Nice roasted coffee notes, but does have a bit of a sour aftertaste. Overall I enjoyed it. Woodland Farms dark is still my fave NA Stout.
A little bitter but good. Picked it up at Whole Foods at a surprisingly decent price.
Very full & tasty. Will buy again.
A legit Golden Ale. Keep an eye out. Deschutes is killing it in the N/A realm this year.
My husband likes craft beer but is doing Sober October. I want to get him some NA beer to help him get through October. Any recommendations? He likes IPAs and lagers.
Wife picked up a 6er variety pack which included red amber, golden and citrus wit at an HEB in Hou, TX.
It’s already been a dozy of a day at work and I figured WHY NOT have a little lunch NA action. But I must admit I am disappointed.
This one kinda sucks….its got a good mouthfeel, doesn’t seem thin but the taste is very watered down. As a Texan, who doesn’t live all that far from Shiner, I hate admitting this. Hard pass for me(but I’ll finish it) 🤣
The Franziskaner, along with the Erdinger Weißbier, we're by far my favorites this last week's trip.
Light fruity flavor with hints of caramel, it's a full bodies beer that can pass for the real thing any day.
Now I just hope I can find some of these in my neck of the woods in GA and hopefully at somewhat reasonable prices. Am I hoping for too much?
Pretty darn good!
I keep seeing references in Athletic's email marketing for 19.2oz cans. Has anyone has any luck finding these online or in-stores?
"Huge NA selection" I guess high end liquor stores in rich areas are were I look from now on!
Terrific flavor and mouth feel. 30 calories. I’m not sure they can be beat! Have y’all tried these (and their hazy ipa)?
Was to find Athletic Oktoberfest, but was pleasantly surprised to find this. First time seeing it in my area and it was the only one. I’ll be back with reviews!
