So little back story my grandad mal had been married to my nan for 60 years they where soul mates I kid you not they met in my grandads youth club in his basement when they was 14 my nan Angela had a boyfriend at the time but my grandad was determined to wait till she loved him and one day he went to her house and told her how he felt and she felt the same they have never left eachother since they had intertwined souls and they will forever be my ideal look on true love so the sums up the backstory of them. My nan died last year from batting cystic pyrosis all her life she died in December a couple days before Christmas and it was hard on everyone life isn’t the same now and never will be So the weird thing just happened like 10 minutes ago so my grandad take my nieces to school every day they live next to me so I go and smoke with him everyday. Every day is the same we just talk nothing new. So we was stood talking outside of his car and a lady comes up behind us with a little boy saying excuse me so i turned around and asked could I help her she shown me my grandads phone and said it was in the middle of the road up the street (my grandad never opens his car windows, hadn’t opened his door while driving, and his phone was in his chest coat pocket) so how the hell did it end up on the road and he’s lucky because where we live people wouldn’t bring that back they would take it for themselves. My granddad said thankyou and pulled his wallet out to offer her money to say thankyou she insisted he keep but it has really baffled us and how has his phone ended up out the car if he hasn’t opened it

Hello, when I (18 TransF) was 12, I got sick for 8 months straight, leading to me needing to get pulled out of school, and defining a part of my life. Suddenly, around 8 months after it started, it just one day suddenly stopped and never came back. Over time, I slowly started to forget about it and move on, but I have recently wondered what it possibly could have been. I went to maybe a dozen doctors, but none of them were ever able to give an answer.

Some details:

Symptoms were odd and slowly shifted over time, but the main big ones were, a constant low fever the entire time, migraines & headaches every day, normal cold symptoms (eg. congestion, coughing), and swollen lymph nodes.

No treatments worked, and no tests found anything. Got tested for pretty much every infection or virus, got lots of bloodwork done, and everything was negative. Antibiotics did nothing to help, and no medications ever did anything, other than treating specific symptoms.

By far though, the most odd part was the end, where one day, after almost a year of being very sick, in the span of a day, it just vanished. After that day, I never had any symptoms again and completely went back to normal. This has left me now, today, quite confused, and wondering if it could ever have any chance of coming back in the future. I was wondering if anyone has any clue what this sickness could have possibly been?

As a last note, I have always been up to date with all my vaccinations, am from Florida, and just prior to the sickness had a minor concussion, which I am unsure may have played a role in it.

EDIT: I see a lot of people suggesting it could be mono, but I remember being tested negative for it. Additionally, unlike with mono, the illness was severe for the entire 8-month period.

I've been getting this weird videos of usually a woman with a crying filter on showing videos of these two girls that were reportedly recorded shortly before they committed suicide together.

These videos are always in Russian which causes a big language barrier since idk any Russian alphabet. I am Czech tho so I can understand a bit from the videos they are actually showing. One of the girls says the hates her hair and that it's a shame she has ugly hair on her last day on earth. I've also seen a clip of them singing the song Клан by Катя Самбука which is widely associated with the suicides of two siblings Vika and Vova that happened in 2023. Nastya and Polinas deaths allegedly accurated in 2024. This makes me wonder if these girls got sort of inspired by the Vika and Vova case to take their own lifes.

The interesting thing is that I cannot find anything about these two online besides the weird and insensitive Tik Tok videos. They always link a telegram where "you can see the videos" but it always leads nowhere. In the case of Vika and Vova I was able to find not only the suicide livestream but also the funeral videos, grave photos and uncountable videos of them doing drugs or just hanging around. We basically know everything about them but in the case of Nastya and Polina I cannot find literally anything.

Can someone help me to resolve this mystery? Also how can someone just so casually exploit the deaths of young girls to promote their telegram? I just find it all bizarre and the case doesn't let me sleep at night.

a woman from my hometown went missing about a week ago, and there’s some weird shit going on. i’ll paste the link below to her MPIA page. for some reason this site and all of the missing persons flyers and posts claim she was last seen on Nov 1, however when you go into the comments of these posts on social media there are multiple locals claiming she was last seen on Nov 5, and that the Nov 1 date is a typo? her boyfriend (who she was last with) has also been commenting things on social media like “she’s sitting pretty in a 5 star hotel” etc. the local PD has also failed to conduct any searches whatsoever, and personally, i don’t think they can handle it knowing their reputation. i really wish they would get the state police of FBI or someone involved. any info or ideas you guys have could help. her daughter is so distraught. thank you in advance!

Woke up this morning to a fully formed adult slug on our kitchen counter. We've lived in this house for 17 years and never seen anything like this. There was a little bit of slime right around the slug, but no slime trails to indicate where he'd come from or how he'd gotten there. Any ideas?

So, I know this may sound crazy, and perhaps two steps ahead of anyone's normal critical thinking. Buut.. I obtained the pictures through wikipedia a few weeks ago, all posted by a user called: "Jasper Montgomery Gold" and idfk what's happening. the second pic is very blurry, but if you upscale it you see that is just some ordinary picture with that text there for no reason. I was about to choke and die while eating my newly baked pie lmfao.
Am I tweaking??
