Happy Dream Valley Survey - NOT OVER YET

I called the number today after being obsessed with the “Happy Dream Valley Survey” mystery for about a week now, I’ve been listening & watching videos on the topic so it surprised me today when I expected to receive an automated message, not a link to a book that’s in the US archives gov website. I will say, I haven’t been disappointed in the book so far.

Smoke Detector goes off right before dryer cycle ends

Hello! I have this bizarre issue that no one can figure out so thought it’d post it here to get some extra opinions. We’ve been having an issue with the smoke detector in the laundry room of my rental townhome. Just the laundry room. A few weeks back, the carbon monoxide detector in it beeped, so I of course panicked and called the fire department. They came out and tested it, and didn’t find anything. So I called maintenance and they replaced the detector. The next day, it beeped five times which is the end of life alarm for the detector. But it was brand new? So they came out and replaced it again and said if the same thing happened they’d have to go back to the drawing board and call a contractor to come check. Not two hours after he replaced it the second time, it beeped five times again. So that was about a week ago, and while we’re waiting on a visit from the contractor I noticed a bizarre pattern: the smoke detector does its five beep end of life cycle every single time the dryer is about to complete it drying cycle. If we use the dryer for two or three loads, it’ll beep its EOL signal two or three times that day, if we don’t use the dryer at all, it won’t beep at all. It literally beeps every single time the dryer is about to finish. What could be causing this? Does the dryer emit some sort of frequency that elicits a response from the smoke detector? Very bizarre.

TLDR: My laundry room smoke detector chirps five times every time my dryer is about to finish its cycle.

Abraha

  • The first thing you should know is that Abyssinia was located in Ethiopia with its capital in Addis Ababa, and Abyssinia included countries such as Djibouti, Somalia, Eritrea, Sudan and Kenya, all of this area was called Abyssinia, and it was the third most powerful kingdom on earth after the Romans and Persians.
  • Another thing is that the word Najashi means king, meaning that Najashi is a title for the king of Abyssinia.
  • Abraha was a soldier of the army of Abyssinia who came to Yemen in the campaign sent by the Negus King of Abyssinia, led by Aryat, to invade Yemen and avenge the death of Christians in the incident of the groove by King Dhu Nuwas.
  • After the success of that campaign Yemen became a vassal of Abyssinia, and Aryat took over the rule there.

RedPath Mansion Murder

I have a school project + essay that's asking us our thoughts on what happened is correct. The thought of it being a murder-suicide seems reasonable. Clifford killing his mother, but also the thought of someone else being the murderer, such as Peter, could also be reasonable. Also, I heard a theory that Clifford was gay? I couldn't find any actual sites that stated an explanation on that theory, so not sure how people got to the point.

Isdal woman code

We're obsessed with the isdal woman case. We dived into a lot of archives to uncover as much information about her! There is one thing we can't really figure out.. I've never asked this on reddit so I might try it. Can someone out there help us with cracking these codes? Some of them are already confirmed, but not all of them..

If you don't know who she is, here is some starter information about her. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isdal_Woman

For many, many years. This unknown inscription carved into the Shepherd's monument in Shugborough has eluded would be attempts to unriddle it's morbid secrets. Might this decryption finally undo the secrets of this memento mori cipher?

The man who drove himself to death

In 2020 a UK lorry driver drove through the night with his lorry filled with explosives and detonated it the following morning, 300 miles from home- but why? Was it an evil act of revenge or a twisted setup?
