Is it normal that when I add sunflower oil into the blender I get heartburn after drinking the milk? I never tried other oils and store bought plant milks don't have the same effect on me. Suggestions?
I want to use the amylase to break down the starches to aid in flavor but all the enzymes I can find also contain probiotics. All the sources I've read say you need to heat it to 150 degrees for 1-2 hours for the sweetening to happen. Does anyone know if this will also cause any lactofermentation?

I use the old soyajoy model from the year 2000? The soybeans go in the filter basket so there's no possibility of increasing the ratio of soybeans to water. If I get one of the newer models that don't have a filter basket, g4 or g5, will I be able to put double the soybeans in in order to make tofu later?
I’m the one mylking now… anyone have a G5 manual? I cannot find the error codes anywhere online. Please help!!
I recently got a nut milk maker (soyabella) and am looking for ideas on interesting combinations that you can’t find in the store.
I’ve made oat mylk with hemp seeds for extra creaminess before, but beyond that I’m out of my depth!
I wanted to get some shares in $MYLK ($1.04) and was trying to buy it through Fidelity... They only offer OTC shares of the stock through $MYLKF ($0.85)...
When viewing the charting data through TradingView, there is no data available for $MYLKF... When viewing stock data through Fidelity, there is no data available for $MYLKF...
Is this stock ($MYLKF) safe to buy through Fidelity, will the price follow/is the price corelated to $MYLK sticker?
I've bought 2 cartons of Isola Bio Oat Original Drink since it was on sale. This milk isn't suitable for coffee, it doesn't dissolve well and gives the coffee absolutely obnoxious texture and flavour. (it is fine when drank plain though)
is there a DIY way to convert it somehow into something more suitable for coffee (especially Iced Coffee)?
Hey, I'm thinking of making my own mylks at home but can't decide...I have always just brought the store, shelf-stable stuff. To the peeps that have made their own, what are the pros and cons? Do you make them regularly or only when you have time?
Hi I’m looking for ideas for a stabilizer or something to improve shelf like in my horchata and rice milk. It lasts right now 5 days.
I started using homemade oat mylk for baking and haven't noticed any differences to store bought oat mylk. What has your guys' experience been with homemade vs store bought mylk when baking/cooking?
I've gotten into the habit of making soy milk, but I try not to waste the okara. I've tried a few uses for it (sea burgers, cookies, vegan parm) but none has really seemed that tasty yet. Especially as a way to use up something like okara every single week.
What are y'all's favorite recipes that use the soy beans pulp leftover from soy mylk?
Just found this sub, because I was looking for oat milk recipes online. Most of the ones that show up on Google just put 4 parts water & 1 part oats in a blender. I tried that the other day & it was alright, but it was more watery than I'm used to.
I'm currently looking for new recipes that I'd like to try out & ideally I'm looking for a creamy outcome. I've read about soaking the oats first & even using enzymes. What's your experience with doing that?
