The zone of interest mistake

Anyone knows why the collar Insignia of obersturmbahnfuhrer Höss uniform only has four stars. Shouldn't there be 2 bars next to the stars? Is it a mistake or did the film makers did this on purpose?

Does Anyone Else Find It Odd That In The 1984 Movie “The Bounty” Fletcher Christian and William Bligh Are On A First Name Basis Until A Certain Point Where Bligh Objects To Being Called By His First Name?

Later in the movie when the two are arguing about going around the Horn of Africa (they were nearly killed the first time earlier in the movie), Christian calls Bligh by his first name William and Bligh objects. However, earlier in the movie both men were on a first name basis without an issue. Could this have been due to the change in their relationship and it no longer being friendly or could it be more of an oversight?

Do You Ever Feel Like There Was Dialogue Missing In Summer Rental (1985) Regarding The Scene At The Funeral Home?

Jack Chester (John Candy) gets dragged to the funeral home by the blonde haired man who I don’t believe is named after his landlord passes away. It’s here where Pellet buys the rental property where the Chester’s have been staying, rips up the rent check that Jack gives him, and announces that he is evicting Jack and his family. When Jack looks at the blonde haired man who dragged him down here, doesn’t it seem like he should say something like “thanks a lot” and/or I can’t believe you dragged me here for this”?

How Did Axel Foley’s Car From Detroit End Up In Beverly Hills?

Did I miss something in 1984’s “Beverly Hills Cop”? Foley is without this car as it’s back in Detroit and then the car just magically shows up In one of the later scenes with no explanation.

Boring the Devil Error

Factual error: the word "goofy" didn't appear until the 1920s. Elsa uses it near end when she's thinking of Ennis and his "goofy" hair.

In Top Gun: Maverick, the "bandits" on the radar screen allegedly change course to defend the runway after it's destroyed, but in a later shot of the screen they're in basically the same spot.

Blade 2 - Whistler looks like he uses a FLIR in the tunnels which is used to detect heat signatures. Since vampires (in the movie) are cold-blooded (as seen through Whistler’s rifle scope earlier in the movie), the heat profile here matches a human, not a vampire. Am I wrong?

In Downfall (2004) an extra is visible dressed in a navy uniform with the decoration of a grand admiral, the highest possible rank in Kriegsmarine. In fact, only two people in the Third Reich, absent from the bunker at that time, had such military decoration. They were Karl Donitz and Erich Retchel.

In 'The Courier' (2021) - several broken continuity mistakes, the use of new buildings and plastic windows (the film is set in 1960s), the use of the same shots at different times in film, the same extras, historical innacuracy - wrong Embassy house number. Still, the film is great!

In Mary Poppins (1964) the robin appearing in London, UK is, in fact, American robin (Turdus migratorius), not European (Erithacus rubecula). They don't live in Europe. The European are more white at the bottom, with just a red/orange patch around a neck and beak.

[Ferris Bueller] How does Jeannie not recognize her own principal?

Near the end of the movie, Jeannie and Ed Rooney encounter one another at the Bueller house. They both freak out, understandably. Except: isn’t Ed Rooney also Jeannie’s principal? How did they not recognize one another? I could understand Mr. Rooney not recognizing Jeannie, but the other way around? I’ve never understood this.

So in the Harry Potter series firstly it takes a real grand effort just to levitate a thing, then by the Half prince you learn new offensive magic just from a notebook, and you cast it on each other without saying a word...
