The problem: he was almost to be hit by Acosta due to different racing line
This year, martin has won 3 Sunday races while pecco has an astonishing 9 wins (while sprint race wins are 6 each), but martin is still ahead by 17 points.
I saw a video (from the talking helmet) were he suggested that this isn't too good for the sport. Isn't it more exciting if everyone fights for the win, even with the risk of crashing, instead of the best strategy to win the championship being just getting a low podium finish at every race?
What he proposed to solve this was a rework in the points system, maybe closer to the F1 one (25 points for the win but 18 and 15 for the podium places).
I never actually thought about it until yesterday, so I wanted to ask what your ideas are about this, regardless of who you're supporting this time.
