Looking for a way to track two objects on a video and connect them via a path. But I’d like the path to not just be a straight line, it would have some straights and then smooth corners, not as complicated as the photo , maybe just a couple of bends. As the two objects move it would keep the shape but adjust to meet the tracked objects.
Any ideas how best to do this. The original video is from a 3d scene (maya) so could be either done in the animation or in post ie after effects. Open to suggestions.
Thanks
Hi, I'm trying to get into motion graphics however I'm learning trough YT videos, does anyone know or can recommend me a good course or something like that.
I've been interested in editing and wanted to do motion graphics as a career. My worry is that Itay be bad for pay. I've heard good things about hourly pay and stuff but my worry was that my info was messed up? Can anyone in motion graphics give me some heads up or info on how good pay is and if its a good career?
Been editing reel/shorts for a client, for last 4 months. Earlier we decided to have atleast 8 reels per month(though they send content for only around 4 reels per month now) . I quoted the price 900 rupees, to which he replied 700rs, which is 22% less of my quoted price. He said, since they are getting started they can't spend much right now. He agreed to increase the price after 3 months. I agreed and work started.
Fast forward after 4 months, after delivering nearly 12-15 reels, which they liked, appreciated and have got certain traction on both insta/YouTube. I contacted them for price revision and quoted 1100 rupees which is 36% more from currently what I charge them. I explained them how I was undercutting myself already and now I should get the rate which I expect.
To which they replied with 900 rupees, , which is what they are willing to pay now. It is 22% increase for my current rate.
Now my question is, since the client doesn't consider it feasible to spend more than this currently, as they aren't earning any revenue from it (this is what they said). I want to to know how should I charge them in future or present, considering the fact that I want to continue work for their project.
Should I ask them that I would be willing to accept current rate if they agree to revise it again in coming 3-4 months down the line?
TIA. Beginners here.
