The Rules
Temp: All Posts Related to the Murder Investigation Must be from Trusted Sources Any posts related to the tragic events that occurred in Moscow on November 13th, must be from a trusted source. Trusted sources include:
1. Be Civil
No personal attacks, hate speech, harassment, racism, sexism, or generally being a jerk. You welcome and to disagree, or share strong, factual opinions, but don't cross the line into being uncivil.
Treat each other the way you would running into someone at the Farmer's market.
2. Stick to the facts
Don't share misinformation. Share sources if you're making claims. Stick to the facts in discussions and posts.
We know this can get a bit fuzzy in a community subredit, and we'll follow the principle of "bolder claims need better sources."
AKA, your post probably won't get removed if your un-sourced claim is "I'm having a bake sale on Adams street this Tusday" - but we'll ask for some evidence if you're claim is "The mayor is a lizard person!"
3. Follow Reddiquette
This subreddit's most common violations are around posting personal info, or being intentionally rude.
Don't do either.
4. No Classifieds
This isn't a place to sell your stuff.
5. Keep it Relevant to Moscow, Idaho
All posts should be directly relevant to Moscow, Idaho and the surrounding area.

Hey guys there’s a free Palestine vigil happening in downtown Moscow across from the fountain if anyone has time to come support! I just stumbled onto it and these are really sweet and kind people some hang out!
I'm trying to move and have basically no boxes. I don't really have money either so I'm wondering if there's anywhere I can get a lot of boxes for free or for cheap.
My sister is visiting Pullman and needs to get home to Tennessee because of a family emergency. She needs a ride from Pullman to Spokane airport tomorrow, her flight leaves at 1:30 p.m. she has tried making an Uber reservation, but no one has taken the ride yet. Any uber drivers out there who could do this for her? She really needs the help guys. Thank you to anyone who can assist!

Hello,
I am from Las Vegas, Went to Undergrad in Reno and am now looking at University of Idaho as a place to go to law school. I have heard generally good things about the school and town and it looks beautiful online. I have just also heard things about racism and white supremacy in surrounding communities. I myself am pretty proudly jewish (not orthodox or anything) and always sport my necklace outwardly. i'm generally conservative so im not super worried about politics or anything. Does anyone have any experience, advice, or thoughts on living in this part of idaho? Will it be safe for me. I have my CCW so would probably feel safe, I would just prefer not to even encounter that.
Been trying to sleep because I don’t feel well and there’s been a steady stream of honking, what is going on???
I'm not local and I'm having a hard time finding/figuring out how to get my dad, who lives in Troy, to his doctors' appointments in Moscow and Pullman. I found the information about MTM but that seems like it's just for those on Medicaid. He's on Medicare of course because he's super old. I don't know anything about this stuff, but I'm sure others have had this same issue. Can someone point me in the right direction? Many thanks.
Just heard a loud sound like an explosion about 7:48 pm ANyone else?
Does anyone have a recommendation for a great non-CC affiliated auto body shop?
Hi everyone. My wife and I are moving to Pullman for a job I just accepted at WSU. We are in our early to mid thirties with no kids and really enjoy the outdoors. We both play golf, while I enjoy running/hiking and her biking. We’re thinking about joining the CrossFit gym since we both like working out but more so for the social connection. Anyone have any recommendations for things to do or places where we can make some friends in Pullman or Moscow?
Does anyone know where I can find pet fancy rats? I don't want feeder rats and I'd prefer not to buy from the pet stores, even if PRP2 seem more humane. At this point, that may be my only option. I know there's A Pint Sized Rescue and I have contacted them, but I'm wondering if there are other local establishments. I'd be willing to drive to Spokane or Lewiston, but I'm wondering if there are any closer first! Thank you in advance!
I’ve had some bad experiences with the one by my house, so I’m hoping to find a different office. I’d prefer if I could be in the waiting room with them, but I’d sacrifice that for a caring veterinarian. Thank you!
No quarter November is right around the corner. Anyone want to go in on an over-under bet that this years NQN involves a video with a heavy dude, fire, and the heavy dude proclaiming some feigned humility?
Hello all~ New local here in Moscow! I was wondering what are some Halloween events to checkout this weekend? It’s kinda hard to find any info online. Thanks ahead of time :D
We're interested in seeing Little Women by the APOD Productions group in about a week, but before we buy tickets, we wanted to know if APOD was connected to CC (we've never been to APOD before). I've tried searching up their information online but have found little in the way of answers, not even if the abbreviation APOD means anything spelled out. Does anyone know if APOD is connected with CC and, if so, where they found that out?
I'm looking to downsize my office space, so I need to scan large stacks of personal documents and send them to my email and/or save on my usb drive. I prefer not to have someone else handle this (e.g. I know Fedex can scan stuff for you and send them to my email) therefore is there anywhere in town or nearby where I can use a self-serve copy machine or feeder scanner? Thanks much
For a 1 bed apartment size.
And do you keep it normal temperature (~70) or do you do crazy stuff to save energy? (like turning it down to 60 but using heated blankets, etc.)
Are there any clubs or activities where people are looking to make friends? She loves to do outdoorsy/hiking/nature type stuff, she enjoys some art projects, she doesn’t love winter sports, but she does like to work out/rock climb, and would do indoor sports. She also enjoys deep conversations about philosophical topics, in the right setting. She’s good at challenging conversations, but she doesn’t enjoy conflict, so she’s not one to push her views in a heated argument type of way. She’s fine with being friends with guys and girls, so she’s not looking for a boyfriend or a girl group or anything specifically. I’m her mom, and I worry about her being lonely. She loves her classes, but I think she’d enjoy her college experience a lot more if she had something social going on. Any suggestions I can pass on to her? I’m curious if everything fun for under 21 is related to UI, or if there’s a broader circle of social activities for young adults in town?
I need to install a downspout and I'd like to add a rain barrel too. The last time I had my gutters replaced, I had a bad experience, so I'm asking for recommendations of a gutter outfit.
What event is happening that has brought on this fireworks show I was just getting ready to sleep lol
Does anyone know what’s going on at Russel elementary?
I work in construction and am hard on my boots. Any recommendations? Is Pecks the only option?
It's open enrollment and I am thinking of switching to Willamette Dental as the only insurance option I have that will cover any orthodontics, but you have to use their facilities. I'm mostly concerned about red tape of getting a new dentist that is also an insurance provider. Anyone have any positive or negative experience with the office in Pullman?
