Hello!
I am new to mosaics. I am wanting to mosaic our outdoor table that is a glass top. I was wanting to grout it at the end with a white grout.
I was curious what adhesive you would recommend for a mix of ceramic and stained glass pieces on the glass top?
I am also curious what specific brands of grout and grout sealant y’all like.
Thanks :)

Would like to get a variety of tiles and bits for mosaics in a range of colours without spending lots of money. I’ve tried going to tile shops and looking through the wastage but the colours are really limited. Would like to have a nice range of different tile materials too but no idea where to get these cheap. Any suggestions?
I’m using transparent stained glass on a clear glass window (reclaimed) for an outdoor piece (I live in warm climate and will bring it in during winter) and I hear silicone can yellow over time. I won’t use wellbond because it won’t hold up outside and I can’t find Mac glue anywhere. I’m thinking e6000. Has anyone used this for glass on glass without any grout bleeding or glue discoloration? Thanks all! Edit: spelling
Hi all, I want to make mosaics on wood also with pieces of wood between the stones. So I need a kind of grout which will move with the wood. I was thinking of some sorts of wood filler or wood lime.
So I'm new to the craft. I've gotten relatively proficient at scoring tiles and then cutting them with manual clippers, but when working with much smaller tiles (1cm squares) the same methodology doesn't work as well: you can't hand-score the thing- it's too small to hold properly- and just clamping it can lead to irregularly shaped cuts as the glass fragments.
As of the time of posting this I'm considering purchasing a dremel for more precise cuts, but I figured I'd reach out to a community of "more experienced people" for advice before I started shelling out moneys.
Want to make a mosaic round outdoor table. Do you suggest getting table and making mosaic directly onto existing top, or making mosaic on say, a wooden backing and then attaching to table?
I'm trying to source sheets of coloured mirror for my next piece, but I'm struggling to find a store that sells sheets of coloured mirror if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very appreciative. I don't mind buying from outside of the UK either. I also saw a lot of acrylic glass has anyone tried including that in a piece instead of glass mirror? Thanks!
