For scenic pictures without a landscape focus
A subreddit for pictures that have pretty backgrounds but have very limited focus on them, where the majority of the focus and detail in the picture is on the character or there is very little detail in both.
Posts that have the main focus on the background should be posted in /r/moescape. Here's /u/eagleshadow, a /r/moescape moderator, explaining what he thinks of where the divide should be:
It's too character centric. There are some sunflowers but that's it for the environment, not that much of it when you think about it. Character takes up like 70% of the image. Moescape images can have character take up to and over 50% of the screen, but only if somehow environment is focus of the image (say character with their back turned, or looking at the environment), or if focus is 50-50, though then it already becomes borderline, like this image, though this one is leaning on the wrong side of the border since it has both little environment and is character-focused. If if was posted to moescape and someone reported it I wouldn't think twice about removing it and redirecting the poster to awwnime/patchuu/twodeeart, though I wouldn't remove it if it weren't reported as we hardly ever do that.
The point of such "strict" definitions of apropriateness, is to reduce content overlap and xposts between awwnime/pantsu/moescape/patchuu/twodeeart, so that people can use their multireddits/front-pages more comfortably, and have less trouble deciding where to post which image.
