I just received my 3rd annual property tax bill. I live in a 950 sq ft condo on Tully Rd in Modesto. It was once again over $2,000 dollars. Last year I went to the tax assessors office and they said it was because of the sale price but he made me feel a little comfortable that if I paid it next year will be better. I’m a good person but no college education who bought this place with the proceeds of my husbands death. Roast me, judge me, but let me know any ideas of what I can do now. I can’t afford this. I’m a 52 yr old woman with no kids, parents have moved on. I’m not putting this on y’all, just want advice.

Who does everyone think the majority of people in this city will vote for?

Has anyone successfully ordered food from the Carl's Jr on Pelandale using SNAP funds? I attempted a while back but was told it wasn't going through(they said it was the card, not the machine. It worked fine at other places before and afterward that same day) I definitely had a balance. I have questions. Are they only accepting from the cash aid balance in the EBT card and not the snap balance(food benefit)? If so that's basically like not taking EBT at all. I'm glad they've been able to stay in business despite not much activity in the area.If they are actually taking EBT it's a good move for them. I'm wondering if anyone on here knows the deal.

PS; another word for the size of the plant for each species is "saplings" otherwise untouched the traditional way of acquiring is to forage for them but many of them are not native to the area I live in (Modesto).
