Can you identify any of these? They are metal and have no makers marks on the bottoms.
Anyone that has this model could I possibly bug you for the blueprints please. My sons baby goat ate his 🤦‍♀️ and I can’t find them anywhere online
Hi everyone,
A few days ago, I posted about finding places to sell model kits from a relative who recently passed away. Someone suggested looking for a buyer on Reddit, so I wanted to share more details here.
Below, you’ll find information about the kits and links to the sales ads (with photos) my parents have put up so far. Since my parents are based in Austria, the ads are in German and listed on a local sales website. However, we’re open to shipping, and with tools like Google Translate, navigating the ads should hopefully be manageable.
Let me know if you’re interested or have any questions!

Hi, I cannot find the exact model this boat is. Anybody know what it is / what it’s worth?
Is there a way to get high quality NMM/RMG plans without buying a print*? Sometimes Wikimedia has the plans in good quality but it still lacks and can sometimes be hard to use without having to waste hours redrawing it.
Many thanks for any answers.
*note: I (and I'm sure others too) am unable to even afford the prints due to various reasons, so please be considerate
Hey guys, I know nothing about sailboats but I'm crafty and apparently that's enough for my parents to ask me to repair this sailboat model we've had for years. I don't have the sails available as apparently they disintegrated when an attempt to wash them was made. I'm trying to puzzle it out and could really use any advice or references you guys might have.
The picture I added is how I'm pretty sure the pieces go given a good hour of googling. It only had two main sails. I also have to try to recreate the rigging
Thank you guys so much for any help!
Hi everyone :)
I'm reaching out on behalf of my parents, who live in Austria, and are looking for advice about where to sell a collection of model ships. The collection belonged to a recently passed-away relative who was a passionate ship modeler.
The collection includes both built and unbuilt models, some of which are still in their original packaging. My parents would like to find a good home for these, where they would be appreciated, but they’re unsure of the best platform or place to sell them.
Would anyone have recommendations for:
Thanks in advance !
So I got this from an estate sale. Overall condition is pretty good, obviously it wasn't kept in a case. The rigging can use some fresh-up/fix/replacement.
Don't have the know-how or skill.
Looking for such service. I'm in NYC metro.
Thanks for any suggestions.
edit: I have got one idea from search - local club on this hobby.
I’ve finished with the ship itself but I don't know what the right rigging pattern is.
