I'm specifically attempting to add new body types to the Enemy Prep menu > Custom soldier type in Free roam
it says in the documentation that "New soldier types can be added via the bodyInfo addon system"
But I have no idea what this addon system is supposed to be or where to find it
for whatever reason this specific mod wont install. No error message or anything it seams to get all the way through installing and then snakebite just closes and doesn't finish.
Can anybody tell me how to remove the infinite ammo ingame? Whats worse is that i also have infinite Suppressor! The Suppressor usage stays in the middle. Im not sure what mod or setting is causing this. Its either Infinite Heaven itself or Enhanced Suppressors Basic/TMOTG (the other mods wouldnt cause that, right?) although i tried deleting both of them and removing all mods excep IH and IHHOOK and still had infinite ammo/supressors.
I recently wanted to replay mgsv app with mods. I got snakebite, installed mods, and the game would start, but then close without any errors. I verified files on steam, and it worked, but I had to then re-download snakebite. After I redownload it, it only works without mods. Whenever I install a mod, it has the same issue.

Does anyone know of a mod that allows you to put Venom Snake's shrapnel horn and/or scars onto other characters? In particular female player characters?
I'm not concerned about it dynamically growing / shrinking with demon points. Just the general aesthetic.
What are the text that appear on the left side of the screen that display messages? It disappeared on me and i think its mod related or just IH menu related but i dont know how to fix it

Is there a mod where Snake (Im using TMWSTW mod) can wear a beret with the FOXHOUND logo on it? It would go perfect with the MGS3 debriefing outfit mod I have installed. I see the beret with a FOX logo but was hoping there was a FOXHOUND version.
I would like to know if there is a way to make the make the female motherbase staff wear the skulls outfit (like the SPM/MSPM mods for the player character) similar to the mod uploaded recently of the heaven troopers to nexusmods.
It is such an awesome outfit and would like the staff to wear the 4 variants of it
Hello, installed Snakebite and some mods on my steamdeck including Infinite Heaven during my installation when the snakebite menu popped up automatically upon install completion. Everything works but now that I want to add mods, I can't get snakebite mod manager to run again. I'm not sure how to run snakebite mod manager itself again without reinstalling. As such, I cannot install new mods or "toggle" mods on/off. Any tips or workarounds?
Pretty simple, to save my own sanity. I just want a mod that plays sins of the father over the fight against the big boy itself. I have both partially modified instrumental and vocal files that i could send to whoever is willing to mod them in.
Is there a fix to this.
Hi all, I've tried looking but I've not seen anything.
Is there any mod that changes the iDroid mini map? I'm specifically thinking something that shows if the base to base radio in a camp is working or not, something to show if the anti air radio is working, maybe some other minor things like that.
Sorry If I've missed something obvious, just think it would be a useful mod to have.
so i been trying constantly trying to find where to put in the script's for either of them, i get the part of getting a 00.dat or data1.dat or chunk.dat files into qar to unpack them to modify them , but where do i find the directory to put said mods where some of them dont exist even if you follow the readme file included wit the mod

Does anyone here know the process for doing character swaps? I have some character models from some UE4 games that I would love to use in MGSV. Can anyone help me understand the process for doing this or point me to some documentation or other resources to help with this? Thanks!
Hey yall, I installed IH and was trying to get a bunch of sideops packs working but there's an issue I don't know how to fix, maybe someone on here can help. When I go to the menu in ACC I get the error "lvarProc.SetSettings: loadAddonMission current setting:0 out of bounds for #list:0, setting to 0". Rerolling SideOps via menu also doesn't work but some of the custom SideOps do show up (but repeat earlier than they should). I assume I just have too many SideOps installed, should I just disable some of them to fix this? Mod List is: -Bounty Hunting Missions -Extra Side Ops -Lufwa Valley SideOps Pack -Missions Sans Frontieres -Morbid's SideOps Pack -Waffle's SideOps
So, I LOVE the world of Metal gear, and the vague yet mostly grounded real world conspiracies it pulls from (some far less vague than others), and one that was always hinted at in the background that never got much attention was the idea of Aliens. and NO I don't want some cartoony alien invader with a gun, like it is a GTA parody, I want something actually mysterious and perhaps really scary in its simplicity, than can attack you at night in certain parts of the map. And in proper Metal Gear fashion, I want to pull from real cases. you can argue if they are real or not, I don't care about how much anyone believes whatever case, i just want to do something different and interesting that is more content for one of my top 3 games of all time.
I don't even want grey....well maybe, but that's maybe further down the road if they can be executed in a way that is not corny, but here is an example of things i thought would be neat to have as killable and non killable enemies.
And this is what I mean from pulling from "real " cases:
Visually, some are much more "traditional" than others, but I would personally want to lean into the less conventional looking as , honestly, that is far more mysterious and terrifying conceptually.
When it comes to making models, these are obviously super simple, to the point that I have no problem doing that, or the texturing ( I have a little experience in both) I just need to maybe figure out how to assign materials?, animation, and things like blinking and how they project light in general.
But obviously the real question is: can the modding tools we have now allow me to do what I want? as in , can these always be in certain areas at certain times, or can they only be tied to side ops? And as I'm not sure there are pre-set up animations that would work for these, can i add custom animations? like hits or bobbling as the wont really have "animations" in any significant meaning. but can i have it shoot beams? maybe spotlights? zooming down from the sky at people level? maybe even have them abduct people in a tractor beam from time to time?
I need to know if I'm asking too much of the tools available, because I haven't seen anything even near what I am wanting yet, and I thought maybe because the tools to support that simply are not there. Personally, I think this Metal Gear game would be a good fit for things that some people would even associate with SCP , which are just well written takes on mostly north American paranormal tales mixed with military conspiracies.
Because for this game, I want to go ham in these kind of UFO/Paranormal events just happening in the background, but only as either an ambient thing you can just run into at the right times (perhaps even during a normal mission or other side-op, or as it's on side op in some way. I don't want to give explanations, or anything like that, i just want weird things to happen and you just have to deal with it. because that's also really everyday life. things just happen with zero explanation and you have to deal with it.
Anyway, ANY feedback on this idea would be appreciated, and I still think this game could really keep sticking around with the right mods to pop interest.
It feels like 2 steps froward, 3 steps back here. I downloaded the mgsi launcher, which worked OK after getting the widescreen patch. But now, the widescreen still looks stretched and it's stopped working all together, with the screen appearing small in the corner. Also, does anyone know how to remove bilinaer filtering? I want those nice pixilated textures, not those blurry ugly ones. Recently brought the HD collection for xbox 360 (I know, but I can't be bothered to buy a ps2) and I want to start off properly with 1. I really appreciate any help.

Yeah been ages, first time modding but how do you open menu?
I get a fast notif on the side that says:
"Infinite Heaven r261
Hold <Switch zoom> then press <Dash> to open menu"
but nothing shows up, Switch zoom is V and Dash or in other words "Switch between run/Dash" is at shift
Been pressing it multiple times and wont show up. Help T^T
Update: Never mind, just deleted both IH and IN and reinstalled the mod seems to work like a charm hehehe

on some thrown items it works fine but the hand grenade and the sleep grenades it absolutely does not, does anyone know of a mod or a fix for this issue? thanks!
I am having issues with importing textures into Fmdl Studio to work with. I have all my files converted to dds and placed where they should be in a converted texture folder, properly structured (such as Assets/tpp/chara/hrs/Pictures).
I have no problems importing Fmdl files, and those files load textures correctly, but when I try to import dds texture files on their own it gives me an unsupported error: saying that the file has an invalid mipCount (9 provided, 11 expected). I am not sure what I have done wrong as I have followed the instructions, and followed along with Stardust's video tutorial to the best of my ability.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey people.
I started playin a modded playthough this month and I'm having a blast.
This was until today that I started mission 21 and got the message that MB was being invaded, I went to answer the emergency call and once I got to the sortie prep screen, there was no visible playable character and once I hit the Commence Mission button, the game just stays in the same screen, playing music but not going anywhere.
Any idea to what may be causing this?
