Same passion as cocktail creation, just don't want or can't have the alcohol. Anything goes (including alcoholic drinks, but at least try the recipe without alcohol and see what you get...)

Help me improve this mocktail!

I made this mocktail, which was delicious, but I think it could be even better if I fixed the ratios a bit!

• 1 oz strawberry syrup • 1/2 oz orgeat syrup • 4 oz pineapple juice • 2-3 oz club soda

I know for sure that there was to much pineapple juice because it was mostly all I could taste. I also know I want to add lime juice next time. Does anyone have any ideas on what a better amount of the orgeat/strawberry syrups would be to balance it out better? Or anything you would add to improve it?

Virgin Ranch Water

Although this isn't nearly as pretty as the mocktails I've seen here, I find it really refreshing! It's just lime and salt with a seltzer water 🥰 helps me a little bit when I'm craving the real thing.

Halloween

Hi, looking for a Halloween themed mock tail, small group only 3 of us. It’s also spring time here so should be warm outside (unless we get some odd weather)

Something with pumpkin would be fun! But we don’t have access to the same range of pumpkin products that the US does (so ideally not anything too niche!)

Espresso Martini NA suggestions

Hi all, I'm wanting to gift my pregnant wife for her birthday with some sort of NA espresso martini kit, preferably something without much or any caffeine and also not sweet, and I'm looking for recipes or suggestions for specific brands. Something I'm looking at now is this: https://www.amazon.com/SAYSO-Espresso-Cocktail-Mocktail-Calories/dp/B0DFQKVSV5 but I'm not really sure how this would end up tasting. I want it to be something very similar tasting to an actual classic espresso martini, as close as possible. I'm also looking a this: https://www.amazon.com/Modica-Espresso-Cocktail-Superfoods-Electrolytes/dp/B0C8WKQN53/ref=asc_df_B0C8WKQN53/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693129827177&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1128695786449485274&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9022290&hvtargid=pla-2295975895154&psc=1&mcid=3a194465f2f73320ad814ea6862d57ba. Any other suggestions or ideas, though?

What would you call this?

I’m so bad at this and also new to the mocktail world, I am sober over 3 years now & I was never a huge drinker (I was more a fan of… the hard stuff) so I am now on a journey enjoying the craft of making Mocktails & cute little drinks bc why the eff would these mixtures only be allowed WITH alcohol? I hope to normalize this so much to my peers who are obsessed with drinking or obsessed with not drinking & fear for their sobriety by enjoying such beverages!(idk if that’s worded right, but I always used to think oh no way i can drink a FAKE ALCOHOL drink?)

This is Muddled mint 2 parts kombucha 2 tablespoon lemon juice 10 droppers of apothekarys “never been bitter” (SOOOO expensive….. I don’t necessarily recommend to anyone on a budget) Water melon water And I used pineapple as a garnish

Thank you for being a great community and I’m excited to start getting more involved in the world of mocktailing!

Pepperoncini Martini - can it be made without alcohol?

Going to a restaurant tonight and I’m newly pregnant. My favorite drink on the menu is “Martini Pepperoncini — Grey Goose, Pepperoncini Brine, Lemon Zest.”

Is there any good way to ask for this without vodka/a substitute?

Refreshing Yet Smokey Apple Sage Tonic

This is a delicious non alcoholic Mocktail that is perfect for sipping at a bbq or chilling by a bonfire!

It’s hoppy without hops, refreshing and a dash of liquid smoke to elevate it to the next level.

Cheers… without a hangover!

Dont swipe away without watching how I made it. Link in comments…

I made a Cherry Temple for my wife

I had some 7-up and grenadine and wanted to make the wife something different. Added half a lemon and half a lime to about 1 oz of grenadine, ~2 oz of Cheerwine (Cherry soda), and a few ounces of 7-up. Garnished with a maraschino cherry and lime wheel and topped off with a couple dashes of bitters. Stirred it all up and down the hatch!

Ritual Apertif Recipes

I was gifted a bottle of Ritual Apertif from a business that was closing. I don't know anything about cocktails and I've never been a drinker. I'm going to a gathering soon and I'd like to bring the bottle along but I have no idea how to prepare it. What are some of your favorite recipes for this product?

update: Ended up having TÖST, ice, orange slice, with a bit of the Apertif and it was great.

Tea Ice Cubes

I like to make a pot of herbal tea every night and drink a few cups before bed. I often had a cup or two leftover and I started pouring the leftover tea into my ice cube trays. I put the tea iced cubes into freezer bags. I would take them out and add them to club soda or seltzer. It’s amazing! Now I’m purposely making extra tea so that I can make ice. It would be cool for a party. Make batches of chamomile, earl grey, and jasmine tea. Freeze it. Let guests make their own combination of tea cubes and seltzer.

Mocktail ideas for a party in 2 weeks...

We're looking for a mocktail recipe that can be pre-mixed/made and served out of a pitcher. Does one exist?? And if so, please share. For me...it kinda feels like it's just a fancy juice then. Please prove me wrong.

Red Wine Alternatives

Hello!

I'm having a friend over for dinner on Sunday and he's a big red wine lover. I do not drink but want to show him that non Alcoholic drinks can be good too. I've seen some brands mentioned before but I will need something that's easy to find at a Walmart or shipped quick.

I've also thought of just making a mocktail but I'm afraid all I know are too sweet for him.

I'm making Tuscan chicken of that matters.

The Whisky Quest Begins: Let us Find Scotland's New Spirit (FOR ANYONE WHO DOES OR DOES NOT DRINK ALCOHOL)

Hi all,

My partner and I live in Scotland and are currently experimenting if we can make non-alcoholic whisky. Whisky is Scotland's national drink but we're both non-drinkers, so we'd be really interested in re-creating the same taste minus the alcohol. It's quite a challenge, but a fun one! Not sure how much people here have or would be interested in mixing with whisky, but we'd certainly be interested in your opinions about what properties you think might be important.

By filling in this form, you help us get a sense of other people's opinions on non-alcoholic whisky: https://forms.office.com/e/SkpCPcCkQs

We'd also be very interested if you use any other types of "non-alcoholic" versions of alcohol for making mocktails, and, if yes, which ones you like most.

Thanks a lot! :)

Mocktail spritz with no access to Lyre/San Bitter/any other brand?

Basically I only have a N/A sparkling wine. Might be able to get my hands on a N/A bitter Amaro but that's it.

Are there any way to cookup something to imitate an aperol or hugo spritz?

Can I use a N/A gin in place of vodka in mocktails/cocktail recipes?

Hi there, so I have N/A gin but no N/A vodka. Can I use the N/A gin in place of vodka in recipes such as pornstar martini and cosmopolitan?

I am aware that while alcoholic, gin can be more noticeable than vodka. Is that still the case with N/A?

Apple-tini

My wife was working on a tea based mocktail but it was missing something and I suggested the addition of apple cider vinegar. She played with proportions and now we're having these often.

Green tea, red tea,, lemon simple syrup, and apple cider vinegar. Shaken not stirred.

What do you like most about mocktails?

Hey guys, so I just wanted to know what are the main things you like about a mocktail, wether it is about the consistency, flavors, ingredients. If you were to have a mocktail made what would you like it to have, specially if it came already made in a bottle or can.

Can you put angostura in mocktail?

Hi! Been sober 3 months, I can say its been the best decision of my life even tough it can be hard someday. Anyway, I am a 24 years old musician, so I am put in a lot of context in wich drinking is very present and alcohol free beer have been such a great tool. Recently, a bartender asked me if I wanted a mocktail with 2-3 dash of angostura (wich is 40% alcohol). I said no because I didn’t want to take a chance. But afterward, I was asking myself if those 2-3 dash of angostura in a mocktail would be the same as drinking a 0,5% beer witch physically can’t get you drunk. Does the alcohol level of both those option are in the same treshhold?

Tell me if you have an answer or if you tried something like that!:)
