I’m looking to move back home to the Mobile/Baldwin County area. I currently oversee the sales team for a beverage distribution company in Birmingham but there are currently no like positions within my company down there. I’m making about $90k and can take a pay cut but not too significant of one. Anyone know of any jobs available for someone with sales leadership experience and a bachelor’s in marketing?

Recently moved to Mobile Alabama from Meridian Idaho. I'm 36 years old but haven't been to church since I was 12. When I was a kid, I remember the church my grandparents took me too had potluck about once a month. I use to live the potluck for the community gathering and social event aspect. I'm still very very new to whole idea of churches and how things work and whatnot. But are they any churches in Mobile that are welcoming to new families that leave the politics out of church. And have regular potluck and other social events anyone would recommend?

Edit: I don't know much about the different denominations. But when I was a kid my family was Christian. I'm not super strict on what denomination. But looking for something more relaxed and upbeat and welcoming. And easy to approach. Probably not leaning towards catholic. Christian or something similar

Just wanted to spread the word on some current events happening and what we are looking to do into the new year!

First, hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Tonight we have our weekly Hobby Hang out night at the Guild Hall. If your into building figures, painting, playing some games or just wanting to hang out and talk hobby then come on by!

We are working on getting two dedicated painting stations available for rent anytime so you can just bring your models and get to work! The stations will have dedicated lighting, paints, brushes and accessories to get you on the way.

Tomorrow we have a few events going! Our weekly board game night is kicking off around 6 pm. This is an open play event so feel free to bring a game, snag a game from the Guild Hall or come ready to play. We also have the weekly Star Wars Unlimited event so come play an awesome card game and battle for the Galaxy! Then we have our Skirmish Game Night, which is currently running Kill Team as the headline event.

Wednesday is our weekly dedicated Magic Commander night!

Rolling into next year the Guild Hall will be looking to get some leagues going for various tabletop games as we expand our available terrain and game tables. We are also looking to get a league going for Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited and Altered as well as various events for those games. As well as expand our Magic the Gathering events.

Hello! Before Thanksgiving I found some scratches in my attic and got some feedback it might be a raccoon. Called a pest control company to check it and they found some other signs of a raccoon up there. The quote seemed super high. I have a sweet milk snake named Rigatoni. He is a boy according to the genetic test and probably about a year old. Vet said at his checkup when I first got him last year he seemed younger than what the local pet shop said he was. So I just gave him a possible August birthday 🎂 but I don’t know truly.

Anyways it’s a small apartment and I have 4 cats and they are always on the tank no matter how often I try shoo them off it. I’ll see them in the ring camera napping for hours on top of it.

He’s very skittish and doesn’t like being held but maybe he just needs someone super experienced with milk snakes. He currently eats fuzzies. I’m unsure of his weight as I haven’t checked in a few weeks but just shed a few days ago and it’s close to time to feed him so I can check if needed.

I really don’t want to just give him away to someone that isn’t a reptile person because I think he’s already stressed with the cats. I just want him to go to a really good knowledgeable home. Plus a lot of people don’t like snakes so rehoming genuinely makes me nervous.

If someone has any ideas that would be great and thank you.

Was there a high speed chase in midtown maybe an hour ago? I was on Old Shell Rd and I saw a reddish car speed by followed by 3 cop SUVs.
