The results of the poll have been tallied, and the overwhelming majority of voters felt that merging the sub with /r/MIZ was the way to go. We thank everyone who was a member of the community and contributed to our growth. We are the community we are because of you and all you've added.

We will be locking the sub for new submissions next week, on July 5th. Until then, if you have any other news to share regarding Mizzou Football, feel free to do so until we close.

So the mod team has been in talks with r/miz and have been discussing a merger, this sub has not been active “moderator wise” for a long time and has seen a huge decrease in numbers after every offseason, we have come to a majority agreement that merging with them will give you guys an active space to talk Mizzou and help r/miz gain traction, but we have decided to leave it up to you guys and not just decide for ourselves. So we will decide what we do based on a poll.

r/MIZ is a new Mizzou Athletics Sub. The mission is to be an all encompassing Mizzou Athletics forum page while promoting Mizzou’s brand awareness and excitement. The vision is to be the largest source of Mizzou information and discussion.

Has anyone heard of any other big name prospects possibly coming to mizzou?

It looks like Mizzou/ the Mizzou instagram page is really heating up this spring. We’re bringing in lots of big talent and im really liking the involvement and hype we’re seeing with the players of the day posts and new content. It seems like they are really trying to build a culture around the Zou which is something we haven’t had in a while… I think it’s just what we need to get to that next level of recruitment and bond that this team could have. Now we just have to leave it in Drinks hands and hope we can take that next step this year. With a new offensive coordinator and A LOT more talent at QB this time around, it’s hard to think we wont at least take a big step in the right direction. Thoughts ?
