Looking for any thrift stores in town that might have cheap men's suit jackets, doesn't have to be fancy but does have to be cheap. Any ideas?
Just wanna have an idea how much you get from service charge. Do they give it weekly or monthly?
Anybody out there have any insight on a career with either company in Missoula? Like nothing corporate but as like a local driver? I’m most curious about how their benefits and retirement is.
Good buds with good prices? Nothing prepackaged. Or too overpriced?
What that one spot you stop at on the way up north?
Wondering if anyone knows if any local businesses are closed today due to the road conditions? I’m thinking coffee shops, brunch places, etc? I’m checking Instagram but don’t see any updates. I haven’t left my house based on how bad it sounds - I’d be surprised if some places didn’t close today!
I work this afternoon, with how much I've read already. Is it even with going in? I live on the South hills. Any advice?
Was driving this morning near the university villages and lost control due to ice on the road, everyone near and in general please be safe today
For reminding me that being a native man out at night is always reason to call the police. Thank you for watching me slide into a truck and immediately accusing me of trying to hit and run after I had asked if you had a pen. Hope those pictures you took from two blocks away really solidify your heroism
Dispatch said male in all black fired off a few rounds and took off… anybody down there have more intel? Check on your friends if they are out tonight!
Police saying suspect may be either on Higgins or behind Sushi Hana..?
I have a friend taking deep interest in moving up to Missoula and he wants to get involved with a rap/hip hop/r&b scene. Does Missoula have a big enough scene for him to get involved in? Apologies if this is a dumb question, as I am more a part of the metal scene and don't know too much about the rap scene here.
There's another silent reading event at the Montgomery Distillery this Sunday at 6PM.
Here's more info on these:
Outside Bobwards at the mall …@ like 8:20pm tonight 👀
Anyone else see these over sentinel? Maybe half hour ago
Overhearing the 30-something woman explain reddit to her boomer parents(?) at The Depot was pretty entertaining. Hopefully that means less of them on Facebook?
Does anyone know why so many 12th street apartments are becoming available?
Anybody have any spare moving boxes?? Or where I can get a bunch before they’re recycled? Could pick up anytime this weekend.
Thank you!

Hi there! I may finally have the opportunity to start a veggie/herb garden this summer and I'd be so appreciative for some advice. I have tended gardens in zones 11a and 7a but never in our zone here in Missoula. May I ask what veggies and herbs do well here for you here?
Hey, Missoula!
I just wanted to take a moment to send out some good vibes to everyone in this beautiful town. Whether you're a lifelong resident, a student at UM, or just passing through, Missoula has a way of bringing people together with its breathtaking landscapes, kindhearted community, and that undeniable Big Sky spirit.
As we move forward, I hope this year brings you success, happiness, and endless adventures. May your coffee be strong, your hikes be breathtaking, and your connections with others be filled with warmth and kindness. Whether you're braving the winter chill, enjoying the Clark Fork River, or just soaking in the good energy of this town, remember that Missoula thrives because of its people—you!
So here’s to local businesses flourishing, friendships deepening, and every one of you finding new reasons to smile. Let’s keep lifting each other up, supporting our neighbors, and embracing all the wonderful things that make Missoula such a special place.
Wishing you all love, light, and prosperity. Stay wild, stay kind, and keep being awesome, Missoula!
What’s something great that happened to you recently? Let’s spread the positivity!
Not affiliated, not an ad, just a happy customer. FSK opened today in the old Roosterloo/Sonny's Original building off West Broadway and Butler Creek. We've been on the lookout for good brunch spots since The Shack closed, so we were excited to see a new one open up.
Definitely had "Day 1" vibes, but the staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. Coffee, pastries, and breakfast burritos/sandwiches. They also had a lunch and happy hour-ish menu with soup, salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers etc. Impressively broad menu for the first day open. Prices were so-so, but that's everywhere these days, and we're always down to support a local business.
Recommend giving them a shot if you're looking for a good brunch or lunch!
Edit: thank you all for your comments! It's much appreciated :) Having our second baby soon, and wanted to hear about if people's experiences were generally positive or negative at Community when having their babies. My doctor Tondy is absolutely amazing, but due to a lot of trauma with my first birth at the hospital in Helena, I just have a bit of anxiety this go around. I will most likely be induced early as I was with my first. Thank you!!
Hey folks! A little late to post, but I was at work until just a little bit ago. Tonight there will be a group of us meeting at Break Espresso (432 North Higgins) to play board games and card games. Things will start at 6:00, so come on down! Again, I apologize for not getting things up earlier.
So much negativity these days, just wanted to recognize something positive. Called Bitterroot Flower Shop to order some flowers for a birthday. Incredibly good customer service, it was a great interaction and I literally got off the phone and wanted to spread some positivity! Thank you!
this week the university really showed up, apparently there was a ton of allegations coming out from young students about some older dude named Stephan. idk if this is true but he was apparently working in one of the offices on campus and within like less than 2 weeks of everything coming out from a ton of young girls, he got fired from his job there and as a student. hell yea UM that’s how you get rid of predators on campus! UM really really impressed me with this fast action!
Looking for guitar lesson recs for my daughter, she is begginer and she just moved here and my bf gave her his electric guitar and she's wanting lessons.
